Brad Paisley and his wife open free grocery store to help people in need

Country music star Brad Paisley and his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley, have opened a free grocery store in Nashville, Tennessee, to help people in need.

The supermarket called The Store allows families who are referred by nonprofit and government agencies to shop at the grocery free of charge for one year so that they can get back on their feet, Today reported.

The Store operates like any other market. Customers walk through the aisles to pick out their own fruits, vegetables, cereal, etc., that they need and check out at the register. But the main difference is that no money changes hands.

With the help from Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee and other organizations, they will provide the food to the shop.

  1. If the government is involved in this endeavor, it will be total corruption. And I think the government is from what I read.

Watch this socialist experiment come crashing down like it always does.

The only way this type of endeavor will work is by Churches and charities on a local level one-on-one administering. That way they can weed out the con artists from those who are needy

  2. They have done more for the poor THIS YEAR than the billion dollar Clinton Foundation has done in 10 years....and they didn't kill anyone, either....

    Good job.

  3. More free stuff to those in “need”.

I’m sure this will end well. At least it will make liberals feel good, that’s all that matters.

  4. The food is coming from the food bank and other organizations. You must be referred by the Government it certain non profits or for profits. The star isn’t supplying anything but his name and a tax write off. NON OF THE FOOD IS FREE. It has been supplied by WE THE PEOPLE. he could just as easily by a home for a few homeless people and give them jobs washing his tour bus but then it would cost him money.
