  2. Round abouts keep traffic moving, other than the occasional idiot that thinks they don’t have to stop when approaching them they work pretty good

    1. Do they work good 50 ft from two consecutive traffic lights

  3. I don't get the IDIOTS who STOP at a yield and roll through a STOP. Or the IDIOTS who STOP in the E-ZPASS LANE. UNBELIEVABLE.

  4. The only people that don't like roundabouts are the idiots that don't know how to drive. Lived in a place with a busy T intersection, sometimes would have to wait 5-6 minutes to make a right turn wouldn't even think about going left. They finally put in a roundabout and never had a problem and the accident rate went way down.

  5. Traffic can not move if there is no place for it to go after you get out of the circle
the cluster that is mill and main will screw it up as the traffic can't flow onto 50 or main from mill because of traffic lights
Bad idea stop it before it gets worse

  6. 1:45 - provided that they are designed large enough to allow the traffic to flow.... There isn't enough space for the one that the illustrious mayor wants to install!

  7. Roundabouts sucks. Drivers never stopped / stops for stop signs and always took / take the right away just like they do on yields. They don't know how to drive or what road signs mean. They act like the "me" generation. I will do what I want so get out of my way. They create another hazard for Drivers who try to obey the rules of the road. Yield signs / intersections should be outlawed. Just drive around the by-pass and see who yields and who doesn't.

  8. I don't think the mayor gets to decide whether we get a roundabout or not. Those decisions are up to State Highway Administration.

  10. 4:23 This is the person who made the 2:30 comment and to answer you yes they do. The roundabout I was talking about was before 2 traffic lights. The intersection was major heck during morning and evening rush hour until they put in the roundabout and after about a week after it opened everything was smooth going.

  11. I kinda like round-a-bouts. I travel across the bridge frequently, and the ones I encounter in Towson, Arundel Mills, Severna Park, Annapolis... all work really well and keep traffic moving...no long waiting at lights.

I guess to each his own. They are also great for keeping larger trucks off of small streets.

  12. I don't get the IDIOTS that don't stop if they have to at a yield sign, yielding to on coming traffic. Pisses me off as they think their time is more important than others and they don't have to yield. Happens all the time around the bypass....smh.

  13. We need round abouts on Route 50

    instead of redlights and crossovers

    might be fun

  14. I have my lawn chair and cooler packed to watch the show at Mill St. , Riverside Dr., Carroll St, and Camden Ave when the circle goes into effect. They should sell tickets for the grand opening. It would bring in a lot more revenue than any festival.

  15. I'd like to know how a round about is going to work there with 2 stop lights such a short distance away from the round about.

  16. I'd like to know how a round about is going to work there with TWO stop lights such a short distance away from the roundabout. What we need around here are more bridges to cross the Wicomico river. There is only ONE bridge to cross it. Build some more from Riverside to Pemberton Dr. and Nantickoe Rd. and on to Rt 50.

  17. @August 27, 2019 at 8:45 AM , What you do not understand is there are TWO lights really close to the where the roundabout will be built. When they are red, the traffic will come to a stand still in the roundabout. Then NO traffic will be moving.

  18. For those that can't comprehend how a roundabout works, and how it improves the traffic flow at an intersection, just wait and see. Or you can travel through the one down by WalMart South, and see how rarely anyone has to come to a complete stop and wait for any length of time to go through the intersection. The only ones that seem to wait, or cause problems, are the morons that don't know what a yield sign means. Some think it means stop, and some think it just means keep on going. A roundabout won't fix stupid.

    1. There is only one traffic light a quarter of a mile away buddy. No comparison to Mill St. #teamjake
Get off his sack or you must be the genius with the SHA pushing the project

  19. @September 1, 2019 at 11:02 AM. The one at Wal Mart south does not have two stop lights real close to it either. Now do you understand the difference between the two will be? Did I fix stupid?
