    2. No they don't. Keep them involved in sports, church, scouts, etc. Homeschool kids fare better than public school kids. They test higher on standardized tests, their grades are higher, and now universities are seeking out homeschool kids for scholarships.

  10. The kid in question is trouble and needs to be taken out of public schools. He's been nothing but trouble since moving here two years ago and each year his actions have progressively gotten worse.

    2. @5:49 WTF are you talking about? Not a parent or family member. I met the kid when he first got here from Baltimore and tried reaching out to him and talking but to no avail. He's just getting worse every year and his actions are getting more aggressive. He had a run in with the school officer at the end of school last year and now this

  11. Hmmmm. 13% of the population is black and they commit 58% of all crime ? So who should we be worried about a white kid that kills 3 kids in a school twice a year or the black kids that kill 10/20 people every weekend in Chicago.

  14. Let’s talk about the fights that occurred this week (the first week)in the county schools that no-one is talking about! Specifically SMS. It’s ridiculous that you have to worry and fear your child’s safety when sending them to school! When the hell are parents going to start being held accountable? The parents need to be fined. The parents need to be responsible in someway when their kids come to school and act like complete animals...but the board is to scared of lawsuits to put the responsibility on the parent. It’s beyond insane.

    1. No blame the school system who now allows kids and parents to manipulate and terrorize others w/ these Ieps, 504 and "mental health" passes. That didn't fly back in the day and you didnt have the chaos you have now

  17. Stop Blaming the parents of these children. The school system has made it clear to these problem children there are no repercussions and if you are a straight up criminal we always have a mini jail called choices so one can still gradiate you feels me. Enough is enough. It is time to allow the children that want to excel do it in a place that is safe and conducive to learning. If you continue to let these thugs black and white to run the school you get what you deserve. I went to school in Charm City many moons ago. If a student raised a hand to a teacher or the any staff they got their ass handed to them after school by fellow students. Stop coddling these punks. ex spell them period. If they get a diploma at 19 who cares or not.
