Governor Hogan says he will not run for President in 2020, launches new organization

ANNAPOLIS (WBFF) Governor Hogan has announced that he will not run for President in 2020.

Instead he says that he is launching a national 501 (C) (4) advocacy group to continue to be a leader in the national conversation about where our nation needs to be headed to ensure a more prosperous, stronger, safer and united America in the years ahead.

Hogan says, "I truly appreciate all of the encouragement I received from people around the nation urging me to consider making a run for President in 2020. However, I will not be a candidate. Instead, I am dedicated to serving my second-term as Maryland Governor and in my new role leading the America’s governors as the incoming Chairman of the National Governors Association. That work is important, and I believe both of those roles will give me the opportunity to make an impact on the direction of my party and our nation.”

  1. Yea he's done such a great job in Maryland, NOT! He's merely trying to avoid further embarrassment. I mean Baltimore doesn't seem to be working out too well these days

  3. You're not going to run because you have about as much of a chance of going anywhere as Omar that works at the Wawa.

  5. How about finding a way to restore Meals on- Wheels to those on the shore who need it. Or did we waste our votes as we are forgotten again?

  8. Who is going to fund this new group. Taxpayers. Poor excuse. Another Democratic ploy to spend your tax dollars. Did you really believe he was serious when he announced he was running. Gee I wonder why he changed his mind. Met up with the big boys.😂😂😂😂

He really has done nothing for the Eastern Shore unless it deals with Ocean City. He pats himself on the back about all the job creation yet nothing here. The factory that just closed in Western Maryland got all his attention. He sent people there to help them get jobs. You hear about places opening up all over the state. Not here. Zip, notta, nothing at all.

  10. Let's face it, the eastern shore is not much of a threat. People don't get out and vote and are comfortable with the liberal agenda. So much of the shore is rural many are not exposed to the crap in Salisbury and just plain do not care.
