Enjoy Your Memorial Day Weekend At Caribbean Joe's
Well, for once we're going to enjoy a beautiful Memorial Day weekend where the weather is actually going to cooperate. We expect Ocean City to be a mad house. That being said, do like others do and enjoy West Ocean City where you don't have to deal with the traffic and lights every 30 yards. Come enjoy the Caribbean atmosphere, great food and great music all weekend, (including Monday). There's no $40.00 cover charge to get in. In fact, there's no cover charge at all. Did you know that Seacrets took in almost $850,000.00 last year with the $40.00 cover charge alone just to get in. Either way, I hope everyone has an incredible weekend.
8:25, What's most interesting about that cover charge is that the owner of Seacrets charge $20.00 the year before and here's why. He was trying to STOP so many people from trying to get in. When that didn't work he decided to discourage people even more, (cool idea) by upping the price to $40.00. Clearly that didn't discourage people so I have to agree with you, people are idiots. To pay $40.00 to wait in line most of the day only to get into a bar, well, that's just crazy.
The tourists want to be able to say yeah I've been to Seacrets. Big city money in their pockets when they come to town. I'm surprised the town doesn't charge $50 to cross over on 50 or 90. Bunch of thieves.
And idiots who pay a $40 cover charge, are just that, idiots!!
