What a shame. They should have just waited for the other one to die and then closed the bison exhibit. Now these two bison will spend the rest of their lives suffering in a barren sand pit. Everytime I go to the zoo it seems like it is getting worse and worse. How anyone could think this was a good idea is beyond me.
For 29K they could have shipped her off to an open range farm to live out the rest of her life instead of waiting for her to die in a barren sand pit, alone.
They do it for elephants, they could have done it for her.

ReplyDeleteOver 12,000 Just It cans were distributed to schools across the Lower Shore
ReplyDeleteInteresting that they are taking money from children to fund the zoo. Don't they get millions in taxpayer dollars? And they have to fleece children?

You can see prettier cows around here and don't have to get out of your car.
