George Mason University in Virginia hosts a separate orientation day for black freshmen

New freshmen at George Mason University in Virginia are being offered another orientation created especially for black students, sparking anger from critics.

The event, called the 'Black Freshmen Orientation', was held on August 25, and advertised as an opportunity for students to learn more about the 'black community at Mason'.

It is now held every year and is organized by the Black Student Alliance, which says it is for 'freshmen who identify as black or are supporters of black people'. Students who attend must also go to the regular university orientation as well.

  1. They are continuing racism!

If there was a white orientation, the ACLU would be having a hissy fit!

  2. So, it looks like they want "equality", but with special treatment.

More BS coddling and preparing adults for victimhood. If they fail, it's not because they couldn't read or write --- it's because some white person targeted them for failure.
I don't see why more black people don't stand up and say "I don't need your special help or considerations....my education and resume speak for themselves".
    Ok. I DO see why.

  4. This university is on the outskirts of DC. Just another LIBUTARD college full of Jews and blacks. Go figure.

  5. Wow! We've come full circle. Next thing you know, there will be separate drinking fountains.
MLK is probably rolling in his grave.
Judge a man by his character, not by the color of his skin.
He was way before his time and man do i miss him. All we have is Farakahn and Al Sharpton. Race baiters.

  6. I'm glad we are getting back to how things should be. We all tried it and it definitely didn't work.

  9. GMU has pretty high admission standards. These black students should be outraged and refuse the PC,BS.

  10. Separate but equal "inherently unequal", right?

“Separate educational facilities are inherently unequal.” – Earl Warren, May 17, 1954 in the landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision that prohibited segregation in public education, Brown v. Board of Education.
