  1. Typical that "they are not responsible" after you pay $20. You would think at that price they would have a lot attendant for the hours of the festival.

    1. So you think businesses should let ppl take up their spaces that aren't even shopping at their businesses? Please ppl have no respect for not parking in lots. If people choose not to allow ppl to park in their lots for free then that's their choice. It's not a scheme it's not illegal. They are not bums they are smart. so please have several seats.

  4. There is free parking for the event. Some have chosen to charge for Parking to make money - for their use and are not affiliated with the Salisbury Folk Festival. Two who will charge for Parking are
    Catholic Church $10
    Go Getter/Lower Shore Clinic $20
There may be others we are unaware of. It is your choice if you use the free parking or pay to park.

  6. A fundraiser for a private non profit that provides housing, crisis services, mental health, and prImary care services. How terrible. Particularly with all of the positive help you give the community. We are not the only business in town charging. You’re welcome to go after the Boy Scouts as well, if this is your complaint.

  7. I blame our Mayor for this FESTIVAL FIASCO, but something I find disturbing is that Go Getters who supply meals, housing and supposed to be such good doers has the audacity to charge for parking when the city did it for free. And I also have heard of Churches doing the same charging for parking. What is wrong with your hearts your supposed to care about people and care about your community?

  8. I've seen this done at car shows with churches and non profits but what they do is say Parking Compliments of ......... and a Donation is Appreciated.
The only parking I see like this where you must pay is in people's yards close by the show grounds.

  11. I just googled hotels in Salisbury for tonight and 43 hotels in the area popped up for availability including West Ocean City. I thought that 100,000 plus crowd was going to book every hotel in the area?

    FAILED
