In 1836, at the Young Men’s Lyceum in Springfield, Illinois, a 28-year-old lawyer named Abraham Lincoln delivered one of his finest addresses.
Lincoln condemned the sharp increase of mobs in America, which had exploded in number as the debate over slavery and regional animosity intensified.
“Accounts of outrages committed by mobs, form the every-day news of the times,” Lincoln said.
Many of these mobs had turned violent and subverted the law. They were undermining free government.

Interesting irony that Lincoln freed the slaves to save the country...and Mad Maxine becomes one of the "Mob Justice" that he referred to!

ReplyDeleteNot true. Lincoln freed the slaves in the Confederacy only, not in the north, including Maryland. It was strictly a ploy to cripple the Confederacy to help the Union with its war effort. Lincoln said more than once that he would never free the slaves unless absolutely necessary.

ANTIFA Wicomico includes Jamaad Gould, James Yamakawa, Amber Green, Jake Day, Jake Burdett, Jared Schablein, Earle Hatton, Michele Gregory, Michael Feldman, Josh Hastings, Dan O'Hare and quite a few others. These are the ones that are dangerous because they are trying to take over county politics. They all support violence and have been making threats. They are big supporters of Maxine Waters and Ben Jealous. They have also promised to attack any Democrats that don't support their Progressive movement.
