A new Kansas law makes it a crime for police to have sex with people they pull over for traffic violations or detain in criminal investigations.
The new law bans sexual relations "during the course of a traffic stop, a custodial interrogation, an interview in connection with an investigation, or while the law enforcement officer has such person detained."
Now, you may be asking, wasn't that illegal already?

They need to contact their union and fight this. Sounds like a good grievance to me.
ReplyDeleteOne HAS to wonder what the underlying cause was for THIS law to be passed....
ReplyDeleteThere are thousands of things that aren't "Illegal" that are just plain sinful, immoral acts. We are not supposed to be a nation that legislates basic morals. That is why we are a Christian nation.
ReplyDeleteLegislating this particular act kind of violates the First in a sort of negative way, so beware the slippery slope of addendum to follow...
No more pistol whipping or handcuffs I suppose. Bummer
ReplyDeleteNY had to do the same thing...
ReplyDeleteDo they mean that women can no longer legally do an officer to get out of a ticket or arrest? Seems unfair to me.
