Minnesota Democrats wage war on God, faith and American history

A bill in the Minnesota Senate that would allow schools in the state to voluntarily display the national motto “In God We Trust” has state Democrats spiraling into fits of outrage, because God offends them.

By waging war on God, they are showing contempt for people of faith and disregard for the history of our country.

On the floor of the Minnesota Senate, Democratic Sen. Scott Dibble suggested using “Allah” in place of “God” – as in “In Allah We Trust.” Dibble wondered how the bill’s sponsor, Republican Sen. Dan Hall, would react, since the words “God” and “Allah” (an Arabic word) mean the same thing.

Here’s a little history lesson for Dibble.

“In God We Trust” was recognized as our nation’s motto more than 200 years ago when Francis Scott Key penned it in “The Star Spangled Banner” as he watched the Battle of Fort McHenry during the War of 1812. He wrote: “And this be our motto – ‘In God is our trust.’

So this motto goes almost as far back as the founding of our country. It’s very much ingrained in our heritage.

  2. Just say no to allah..because We dont TRUST IN SATAN!!!
Islam, as a religious system, is entirely of Satanic origin. The Devil is behind every aspect of it. It is a "monotheistic" form of the ancient moon worship that Abraham left in Iraq 2000 BC, but which his descendents through Ishmael have continued. When Muslims circle the Kabah en mass, the Devil is the true object of their worship. The Bible teaches that the Devil and demons use religions like Islam in order to be worshipped by man as God. "the Gentiles sacrifice things to demons and not to God" 1 Cor 10:20; 2 Chron 18:21-22; Acts 17:16-23; Lev 17:7 ; Deut 32:17; Ps 106:37; Rev 9:20; Rev 16:13-14; Rev 18:2; 1 Ti 4:1-2; Gal 1:8. That Islam is clearly of satanic origin is seen in how vicious the theological and physical attacks are against Christians or anyone who believes that Christ was crucified at all, or that Christ is God's Son. Islam to pagan Arabs is an excellent satanic counterfeit that has influenced 1/4 of the earth's population. Islam is certainly the Devil's greatest challenge against the one true God and and Savi

  3. Lets stop all of the dishonesty and get down to brass tacks. This isn't about putting the motto anywhere. This is about finding ways to ratchet Christianity into schools.

For what purpose does this serve, to what end other than to rally votes?

Democrats "wage war on God"? This makes no sense. Most American Democrats ARE Christian, so this is just false.

I wish there was just a bit more honesty here.

Here is a history lesson - "In God we trust" became the motto in the 1950's as a direct reaction to the Red Scare. I believe it was easier to get people scared of "godless" atheists than it was to explain why communism was bad... or worse, people actually thinking that communism was good. MUCH easier to scare them with irrational fear.

Why just you all come out and admit you hate America? You hate the Constitution and you hate liberty, and that you would prefer a tyrannical Christian theocracy take it's place.

I'm not Christian. When I see that quote, it says to me "not welcome"... and that is not what Freedom and Liberty are about, and that is not what America is about.

But the Turd Burglars in the Democrat party will swear up and down that this country doesn't have a Christian foundation.

Since you admit you are not a Christian, it's safe to assume that you are a Democrat. It's you that hates this country. It's you that hates our Constitution.

I noticed you ran on with your drivel, but you forgot to sign your name! What are you afraid of.
