Reckless Driver In Salisbury

Candy Allen Bauer

If you live in West Nithsdale, and this car belongs to you, then I want you to be aware that today - Friday, March 2nd - whoever was driving this vehicle of yours nearly killed myself and my two children.

Let me explain. You know those bright red signs with the eight sides to them? Those are STOP size! When you see one of those the thing that you are supposed to do is- wait for it- STOP! Instead, whoever was driving this vehicle decided to blow through that stop sign at the end of your neighborhood, like they do every single morning, and came within inches of sideswiping my car because of it. As I'm sure you can imagine, had this car hit me going 30 plus miles an hour when it came barrelling out of your neighborhood, the outcome probably wouldn't have been pretty. Luckily I was able to swerve into the other lane and avoid a collision, but if there had been another car coming in the opposite direction the outcome would have been far different...

If you end up injuring my children because of your total lack of regard for basic traffic laws, Heaven help you.

So if this vehicle belongs to you, or was being driven by your negligent offspring, I want you to know that you or they have a complete and total disregard for anyone's safety, and soon all of Salisbury will know it.

Get your act together before you kill someone!

  2. I recommend calling the Sheriff and have a cop sit out there for a few mornings. They will get caught in the act.

  3. Same vehicle that ran me off the road on Wednesday afternoon near rockawalkin and pemberton dr

  4. Have another starbucks mocha latte and chill out lady. If it happens everyday, maybe you should choose a different route to ensure your safety.

    2. 12:27.......or maybe she’s spot on and the other driver should follow the law and take some more lessons before they injure or kill someone. Just because it happens every day, doesn’t mean it’s right! This is a matter of being dangerous. What if it was you and your car or a family member of yours?? I bet you’d be hot too. Maybe you should rethink that assinine comment. Have a SAFE day

  5. Be nice to have a phone app that you could forward to police.

  6. Really 12:27? That is the dumbest thing I have read in quite a while

  7. 12:27 you are a special kind of stupid.

  8. Hey lady, almost doesn't count. You are the lucky one. I guess you had to let off some steam for something that didn't harm you or you family the least little bit. You are complaining about something that could have happened, but didn't. You talk about a lot of "what ifs" that never happened. You need to take another Prozac and try to get some sleep. I see bad and illegal driving behavior every day, that puts my life, and the lives of others, at risk. You are making a mountain out of a molehill. If you want to avoid being a victim, you must practice defensive driving if you want to protect yourself and your kids. Don't think you are going to shame a bad driver with your post. I'm sure they don't care.

  9. 12:27, you're an idiot. Asking a law abiding driver to find another route to avoid a law-breaker is beyond simple stupidity.

I have personally seen residents of Nithsdale think that they can pull out of their neighborhood without stopping. It is a common occurrence. They are breaking the law and they need to stop acting like their neighborhood entrance is the only road on the west side of Salisbury. They also frequently do not stop at the stop sign just past their entrance heading into town at the sharp left turn. I agree with 12:09 that the Sheriff needs to patrol more. Not just once a year.

  10. Maybe its the only route they can take to get out of their neighborhood 12:27, What route do you suggest is safe?

  11. 12:27 - While I get your point. The distracted and clueless drivers are a real problem. Taking a different route is not a solution and I hope you understand that or you should turn in your license. The solution - unmarked police cars and extreme penalties (run a stop sign and lose license for one year)!

  12. Everywhere should be safe 1227. Its asshat mentality like yours whereas now everywhere isn't safe.

    You chillllll - putz!

  13. 12:27 PM really? thats a rather trollish statement.

  14. 12:27 You are a fool maybe next time you will be in this car's path because you too must be a lousy driver or you would not be taking up for this jerk!

    ReplyDelete
  15. 12:27 should keep stupid comments to themselves because this driver will do it to the wrong person someday and end up ripped out of their car.

    ReplyDelete
  16. 12:27 sounds like the culprit or knows who it is. Look out the next thing is they will be wanting to take away our vehicles because of this idiot like they are trying to take our guns over these mentally ill people killing others because the government will not do their job.

  17. I don't think there's any law against "nearly killing" you. Heck, your cars didn't even touch. Tell your insurance company he "almost" hit you, and see what response you get. Better yet, tell the cops, and listen to what they tell you. They know there are always two or more sides to every story, and that most people will embellish their side of the story to make the offense sound worse than it is. You sound a little resentful of they people that live in the West Nithsdale upper scale development. You also come off sounding a good bit self righteous. Why don't you like West Nithsdale people. Is it because they live better than you? Get your act together before everyone starts to think you're the jerk.

  18. That is not in Salisbury

  19. @12:27
Choose a different route because someone disobeys the law??? Exact problem with today's society.

  20. Sounds like anony 12:27 PM is the guilty party

  21. 12:27....ANOTHER person who thinks the rules aren't really rules.
    They are mere suggestions.
He thinks if someone endangers your life by disregarding the rules, the proper response should be to let him do it and alter YOUR behavior.
    Guaranteed liberal.

  22. To 12:27. No the lady shouldn't have to choose a different route. The idiot driver should have driver's license suspended before he/she causes an accident.

  23. Name like Candy she must be a total ditz...probably doesn't work either

  24. Same thing in Tony Tank and Covered Bridge. There are those who cannot do the simple math that to fully stop adds maybe three seconds to their commute. Is it worth a adding few seconds to be safe?

(Maybe they don't teach math in Hungary or Delmar.)

  25. This same exact car almost hit me the other day on Pembwrton RD.

  26. That's the same SUV that I followed and called the police on cause they we're all over the road

  27. 12:27 you are a fool> could be anything from a drugged driver to one with road rage, all kinds of idiots out there. How would you like it if it was your family they run in to? hate to say it but this is why i drive a tank. run into me and i'm going home you maybe not!

  28. The vast majority of the residents residing in Nithsdale never stop for the stop sign at the exit to Pemberton Drive nor the stop sign where Pemberton Drive requires the left turn. They don't know the difference between a stop sign and a yield sign. Even retired Judge Hayman once commented on the arrogance of drivers from that development.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Well at least we all agree that 12:27 is a real idiot and probably shouldn't be allowed to drive, along with the driver of the car in the picture.

  30. these are dangerous stories of someone speculating a story whether true or not, then posting their picture with a tag number for the vigilantes and mob mentalities to come and get them in line (as they see fit)....you can see the mob growing with the attacks on 12:27....i think if you are not allowed a comment and opinion of a story, without ad hominem, which is unverifiable, by the way, then the mob mentality of lynching has already begun and you can see who owns the rope...many ropes.......the solution is simple, if there are laws broken, then get a sheriff to sit and engineer society, or else, like what happened, be more defensive, and really stop whining......if you lived in another country, you would know this to be true....stupid is as stupid does....

  31. She was probably in the way of them getting the next fix. That's important you know. It's illegal yet we enable it. The law is a law. People should follow them. We should hold people accountable to do the right thing rather than enabling them regardless of how it's done. We need to see the bigger issue and help each other. It took courage to post this, the lady may have saved a couple life's today by doing so. The person that ran the stop sign may have been reacting in a emergency situation whatever is going on we have to enforce the laws that are in place. There are better ways to address the issues rather than argue about them. It's not getting you anywhere.

  32. Just another rich nisdale person thinks they can do whatever because they have a million dollar home like run stopsigns

  33. 7:28 Sucks to be poor, huh?

  34. If I were the driver, I would sue you for invasion of privacy. That license plate exposes that person I.D. You don't know if the driver has a wife or kids themselves. You could be exposing their family to crazies that want to help or hurt you and your family. Girl, allegedly snitches do get stitches. All you had to do was call the police or read 1-thessalonians 4:11.

  35. This type of stuff is comparable to the Steele dossier. How unverified and salacious material is used to get law enforcement involved before the motives of the accuser are known. People driving like idiots is nothing new. If I posted a picture of every car that pissed me off I wouldn't have time to do anything else.

  36. Got the tag number instead of ranting call police

  37. 2:53 PM - I'm with you.
But I find it hysterical, that one rich B complaining about another rich B on a blog. Its not rocket science to figure out which neighbor this is. One par with the BS parking lot photos.
Advertising the abundant small mindedness that lives here.

  38. ALMOST.
Once a situation like this happened to me. I was ALMOST killed by a negligent driver. Speeding, on their phone & on the wrong side of the road.
A month later, that same driver that ALMOST ended my life, killed someone a mile away from where it ALMOST happened to me! & was never charged!!

For the life of me, I can't figure out if you are trying to make a point, or what it would be. Other than liking the word "ALMOST," your story is about NOTHING, a mere fairy tale.
