Attorney General Frosh Statement on Trump Administration’s Plan to Expand Drilling off America’s Coastlines

BALTIMORE, MD – Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh today released the following statement on President Trump’s plan to expand drilling off America’s coastlines:

  1. The gulf well had only one wellhead at ground level, and it broke. Drilling a second one and joining the two underground allows for a place to pump the oil away from the broken head so it can be repaired. As with anything, there are safe ways to do things, and the cheap way.

    Drill baby, drill!

  2. This is yet another reason for the eastern shore of Maryland to secede from
    western shore Maryland.

  3. Ok by that logic we should never have or be able to build another nuclear power plant, transport train loads of oil , manufacturer toxic chemicals, we have things we need to do to protect and provide for ower county.

  4. The only major source of income on the shore is tourism and you want to risk that with potential oil spills on the beaches. You cannot fix stupid. Google US oil imports and see what is really going on. We already sell US oil to over 100 other countries.

    1. You realize liberals use fear on every fake agenda they have and people like you respond to it. Take a step back and look at Frosh major donors and particularly the company's or people he has targeted. I was once a liberal democrat until the Benghazi Hearings. #crooked

  5. I say drill, drill baby drill, let Frosh speak for the western shore populace, but as for me I with 8:40 Poster - a secession is more palatable especially with our people from the eastern shore. And I already know that Frederick County officials want to secede because one of the Frederick County officials has already called for their own secession from Maryland.
