  1. He took a knee with his team before the Anthem started. They all stood for the anthem. No disrespect of the flag. I thought this was what everyone was upset about? If people are angry about this then they are just looking for a reason to be mad. So I guess now your not suppose to participate in a non-violent protest at any point in time? Come on man!

    1. That's not it at all if I want to watch protest I'd turn on CNN, FOX, WBOC, but when I watch football, baseball, basketball or Nascar that's what I want to see not overpaid athletes bringing there issues to work. We tune in to those sports to get a little peice and enjoyment away from the crazy world and all the dumbness.

    2. Don't confuse anger with being discussed.

    3. I agree 9:33. I abhor the cowboys, but they had the most prolific of all responses. Classy. Mr. Jones earned my respect last night.

  7. 9:33 AM and by your analogy, all those on their knee are also just looking for a reason to be mad.. Ghetto dwellers that became millionaires whining about inequality. Ironic.

    1. Believe it or not, the majority of pro athletes in any sport are not ghetto dwellers. Most come from pretty well to do families that could support the travel sports and camps growing up to get to that level.

  8. What inequality? what social justice?? please someone explain to me what this is all about except for a reason to divide and don't tell me it is about slavery because that ended a long time ago and don't tell me it is about inner city youth because that is the result of the progressive policies of the last year.

  14. They ALL stood up when the flag came out and when they sang the anthem. No problem at all with that and no disrespect and I hate the Cowboys but I give them their due props. Good job Jerry!

  15. 10:31 AM Prove it.

It is also a fact that in 5 years most of them are dead broke.
Wife beating, dog fighting, guns, drugs.

  16. 1031 oh come on! What earth are you living on these days?

  17. You a$$hats that think 10:31 is wrong - do some research. Simply look it up - multiple articles outlining % of pros that are broke 5 years after retirement. They go bankrupt at a much higher rate than the average person. So stop being so damn lazy and research it yourself!!

What earth does 10:31 live on? I wonder, maybe one where he/she pays the bills.

  18. 10:31 in some sports, yes. But in black dominated sports, many come up through community programs and then excel in high school. The really good ones get recruited to elite, private high schools and get 'scholarshipped'.
The irony is that many of the elite get help from wealthy white people. I know, I was one of the wealthy white people who helped local black athletes.
    Go figure.
Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

  20. 9:49 having a business IS A RIGHT NOT a privilege and a business license cannot be refused as long it is a legal business. A good example of that is the adult products store right on north Salisbury Blvd called THE RED LIGHT DISTRICT, the local govt idiots tried to prevent that business from opening up but they failed. Wise up dude this is after all still a free country.
