I'm certain the FBI doesn't need this guy to teach them. Maybe there were two gunmen. However, I believe the major fallacy with his argument is his assumption that,if there were two shooters, both were shooting 55 grain 223 rounds. If one was shooting a different round, his distance calculation for the second shooter would be incorrect. If there is a way to triangulate the shots from the information available, that would be the best way to determine location(s) of all shooters.
