JUST IN: Former St. Louis officer Stockley found not guilty

ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – A St. Louis judge has acquitted former police officer Jason Stockley in the 2011 shooting death of Anthony Smith.

“This court, as the trier of fact, is simply not firmly convinced of defendant’s guilt. Agonizingly, this court has poured over the evidence again and again. This court has viewed the video evidence from the restaurant’s surveillance camera, the cameras in the police vehicle, and the cell phone video by the lay witness, over and over again – innumerable times,” read a portion of the court document.

Stockley, a former St. Louis Police Officer, was charged with first-degree murder in the death of Anthony Smith, who was shot and killed following a police chase in 2011.

  1. God will always have the backs of the just and the righteous. For example--- George Zimmerman, the officer in Ferguson, the Baltimore 6, Betty Shelby and now Jason Stockley.

  5. 2:35. It's a huge problem with these "witnesses." Lying is in their DNA. I'll never forget during Freddie Gray riots a young black girl right on national television said a man was running, police were chasing and one officer pulled his gun and shot the man right in the back. She swore up and down that is what happened. Turned out the man was not shot at all. It was he who had the gun and he fired it accidentally while running. No one was shot at all. They just lie and lie and lie. Some claimed Freddie Gray was beaten and tazed. Lie. Some claimed Michael Brown was not only running away but running away with his hands up when shot. None of this was true. The black community needs to take a long look in the mirror, admit they have sunk so low and vow to become honest people. They truly need God, but in a real way.

  6. Weird how Stockley rummaged through his trunk before going up to the victims car. Also weird how the gun in Smith's car only had the officers DNA and not the victims on it. Pure coincidence huh. Officer said, captured by camera, during the pursuit "Gonna kill this ****** dont ya know it".

  8. And now they riot. Same story over and over. Break the law, run from the law, try to kill the law, law kills perp, law is judged justified in shooting, riots begin. Wash rinse repeat.

In the future, when the police turn their attention to you folks, I wonder who will come to your aid.

The only people that are racist in this country is the Black. African Americans hate white people and some white people hate those African Americans. If you can't understand that then you must be one of those racist #2's or a dumb white person with white guilt.
