Absolutely! An ice cold Coke on a hot summer day was the best back then. But reaching into that ice water to grab one was a jolt. They tasted better back then too.
9:33, I loved Nehi Ginger Ale. Used to get one at Roy Elseys store on route 50 near Naylor Mill Road. We were constantly going in there with pop bottles we found along the highway in the summer time. Penny candy or sodas.
I miss the Nehi grape! We have gotten the Coke made with sugar and there is a difference. It is really good and doesn't leave a slimy taste in your mouth like the Coke with corn syrup in it. The problem is it is more expensive because it is only made with sugar in Mexico
Yes indeed...ice cold Coca-Cola and a long slim bag of Planters Salted Peanuts!!!! Kids today have no idea....

Yup those 6 1/2 oz bottles were the best
They still sell the small bottles and have the coke made with sugar.
