Susan Rice Urges Donald Trump to ‘Tolerate Nuclear Weapons in North Korea’

Former President Barack Obama’s National Security adviser, Susan Rice, wants President Donald Trump to accept North Korea as a nuclear power.

“History shows that we can, if we must, tolerate nuclear weapons in North Korea — the same way we tolerated the far greater threat of thousands of Soviet nuclear weapons during the Cold War,” she wrote in a New York Times op-ed, criticizing the president’s “fire and fury” rhetoric in response to the escalating tensions between the two countries.

“John Kelly, Mr. Trump’s chief of staff, must assert control over the White House, including his boss, and curb the Trump surrogates whipping up Cuban missile crisis fears,” she wrote.

  1. But the Soviet Union was never run by a certifiable lunatic who kills people off for no reason.

  4. Did Russia, Pakistan,India and others directly threaten us?

This is why we need second level thinking.

  5. She let Russia invade the Ukraine and take over part of that country. So now she wants any country to do what they want. Listening to her, a criminal that should be in prison, is like telling a bank robber to rob banks since they will not be shot.

Don't worry about it so much.
    It is theatre.
    Literally.

Politics is completely fabricated by intelligence.
Kim Jun Un is an actor.
    Just like Mr. Trump.
    they are actors.

Nobody is going to launch nuclear weapons at any other country.
Well, except for the US Government.
But they are allowed to do it.
The US is the indispensable nation.

  7. For someone supposedly smart, she says some pretty stupid things.
NO ONE has ever threatened, over and over, loudly and aggressively (to the point of making an official state film of New York burning in nuclear fires), the United States and our allies with unprovoked nuclear attack.
He is NOT a normal leader, yet she acts like if we would only give him more money and concessions, he will only POSSESS nuclear weapons but never use them. He's the crazy neighbor that shoots guns in his back yard and whom no one will confront. He is not good at "reason" and "manners" and thinks the crazier he acts the more you will do to get him calmed down. He LIKES thinking people are afraid of him. And you live in danger of being shot yourself.
You can move. Or he could die in a fiery accidental explosion. While you are at the police station asking for directions to Dover.
    Things happen.
And they will happen to him, too.

  8. I'm all for NK being a nuclear power; heck, everybody else is. The problem is that now KJI has them, he thinks he can just go out and conquer the world with them, and wants to.

This, of course, is totally unacceptable, and if he fires missiles at other foreign countries, those countries need to protect themselves from that without any limitations, and NATO countries need to be on alert for any aggression KJI may try.

Fire one at Guam, and armed or not, NK needs to be erased. Sorry about all the Innocents that KJI decided to sacrifice, but a counterattack should be no holds barred and over in a week.

    And I mean OVER!
