  1. Arrested the Thug, took the stolen gun away from him, he obtains another stolen gun, kills his cousin and attempts to murder a Maryland State Trooper. A well trained Maryland State Trooper wants to go home after his shift and does what he has to do.

    Thank you to Maryland's Finest!

  5. Why didn't they release him and let him go about his business and get charges for him later. That's what they did for the senator from Delaware. Fair is fair!!

    1. Exactly!! When you treat the same type of incident differently based on the person involved, you open yourself up to questioning and criticism. Very fair question and observation.

    2. 1) The senator tried to board a plane with a REGISTERED gun.
      2) Jaquan had a unregistered illegal gun
      3) Jaquan's criminal past doesn't allow him to possess a gun
      4) apples to oranges people. Stop trying to make it a race thing

    3. Who cares. It is a FEDERAL crime to try to carry a gun onto a plane. He WAS NOT PERMITTED to carry IN MARYLAND!! THAT is the law. Apply the law uniformly.

  8. Saturday morning I went to the Mall in Salisbury and was chased to my car when I came out. I am an elderly woman with health problems so I may have looked like a good target. When I passed the mans car parked in the parking lot he hurried around the car screaming that he had designer sunglasses to sell me. I said I was not interested but he followed me faster still yelling. I was able to get into my car and lock my doors but I was terrified. I drove around the mall looking for security but there was no security in the parking area so I stopped and called the police explaining that I couldn't reach the mall security. They attempted but could not reach them either. I was told that an officer would follow up and I left. I will not go near the Mall again without another person with me and only in daylight hours. I tried to post this earlier but I got the day wrong ...it was Saturday morning.

  11. There must be ten or twelve thousand teens in Salisbury. Three or four thousand are in their late teens. A third of those are black. How many of them do you think are packing?

  12. hmmm... A DE state Senator goes to an Airport where he knows he will be checked, scanned, metal detector, etc... along with his luggage. He has a DE gun permit and is old enough to own, purchase, and carry the gun in DE. It was in a pouch of his luggage he hadn't checked. oops, a mistake. A huge one, as he now faces felony charges, regardless of when he was or will be arrested (don't know if he's come back from his trip since nobody has bothered to investigate any further. i.e. a NEWS source).

    Vs.

A passenger in a car, with a gun in his pocket, that can be seen when the deputy sees its' outline, and is clearly not old enough to have it, he's 17. he's not legally allowed to possess it, buy it, own it, or get a permit to carry it in MD. He was in a vehicle the operator didn't drive correctly and was stopped for a traffic violation, with no idea he would have contact with any authority figure when he dropped his 9mm into that pocket of his, on the pants he was wearing (no doubt he knew it was there).

    Yeah, totally the same thing.

  20. Nice that they caught someone other than the working people trying to get to their jobs on time. Convert checkpoint for working people trying to multitask spouses, children, appointments while driving to work.

  21. Exterminate this criminal!!! That is the sure cure for crime!

  22. What? Doesn't gun control work? How did he get that gun? All guns are registered when sold. So who was the original owner? Was it reported stolen? Gun control laws didn't keep this gun from being used by a non-law abiding thug. What good are gun control laws? Rhetorical folks, the answer is obvious. Maryland lawmakers suck.
