Cops have a difficult job. This woman appears to be mentally ill - the way she didnt even seem to notice how perilously close she was to being run over several times. That anger and defiance is out of control. He did it the right way. I'm dismayed no one seemed willing or capable of helping until the very end. I am grateful that we have police officers like this man.

ReplyDeleteThat went on two minutes too long. No taser? Maybe he thought she might have a weapon and that's why he didn't do the bum rush. Or maybe too many witnesses and video cameras.
ReplyDeleteI don't know the back story so it's difficult to assess it enough. I wouldn't make a very good cop in instances such as this. I would be fired or in jail.
