Remember, if it were not for the tourists, you would not be able to afford that banner ad! MORON. Thank you to all who patronize our town(s). We need you to keep us thriving!
I wouldn't shed a tear if a tidal wave or hurricane took OC away. Can't even cross the highway in the summer. Meal ticket for OC, but a pain in the ass for the rest of the shore. They also bring their problems and crime with them.
That's pretty funny - you know all of the locals feel that way. I don't even go to O.C. in the summer-time. Most locals know where they can beach without the tourists.
10:38 I live in the country so there is no light I can take. Would have to drive back roads for at least five miles to reach a light to cross the highway. It's an adventure from Thursday to Sunday just to get across the highway. No benefits what so ever for locals. Maybe for produce stands and the Beach resorts.
This will get more tourists to come than to leave. People mostly love this kind of silliness. Make a bunch of social media hoopla about it and people will come just to see it fly by and take a photo to send to their friends in six nearby states. Put a backstory on it, like some rich Worcester county hermit who was the victim of a tourist in a bizarre accident.
So, one day, a huge hurricane will sweep through Ocean City and take all the big condos with it. Then, everyone will be boohooing. Except for us locals.
It is unfortunate that tourist(visitors) do not have any respect for our town. Do you see the garbage left on the beech, on the streets etc? there can be a garbage can and they still leave it on the beach or street. Very sad

ReplyDeleteI really wish tourists would pay attention.
ReplyDeleteYeah, insult your meal ticket. That'll help.

It's fake, Bunting would not tow a banner as rude as this.

It is NOT fake, but it was not flown in this area, or even in this country.
ReplyDeleteThe plane with a banner, reading ‘Go home f***ing tourists,’ puzzled beachgoers at Mauguio Carnon near Montpellier in southern France Sunday.
But to some locals here, myself included, I would support it being flown here. Call me crazy....
