Breaking News: Otto Warmbier, the U.S. student held by North Korea, has died

He was in a coma when he was freed last week after 17 months in captivity.

In a statement, Mr. Warmbier’s family said the 22-year-old died on Monday at 2:20 p.m.

“Unfortunately, the awful torturous mistreatment our son received at the hands of the North Koreans ensured that no other outcome was possible beyond the sad one we experienced today,” the statement said.

  5. Want to got to war over this, but realize it would be an overreaction and cause significant civilian deaths. Any more sanctions would fall on deaf ears. How about a bounty on the leaders head as a symbolic act? Send in some assassins.

  6. Why do you folks care about North Korea?
Do you know anyone who is there?
Is their lives any of your business?
Are any N. Korean people affecting your life?

Don't buy into the elite's perpetual war paradigm.
Enough. The US is being used as a war machine, and our young people are encouraged to kill people who we do not know and have no business knowing.

    It is a big world.
    Live and let live.

    Turn off the television.

  9. Life lesson: Don't steal stuff in other countries. In the middle east it can result in loss of hand.

  10. nah...politics at its worse. There are some 20M North Korean's who have no clue about the outside world, let alone electricity after sunset. The poo they are fed by the dictatorship is not their undoing. To "NUKE" them is out of the question since no nation has yet to detonate a nuclear device ever. Atomic is different and after doing that twice on Japan, its been 70 years since.

I like the bounty idea but many must fall besides the just the head. Lots in Kimmy's regime could easily replace him. Need to kill the head, body and eliminate the demilitarized zone!
