IS THE UNITED STATES ABOUT TO BOMB NORTH KOREA? THE WHITE HOUSE SAYS ‘THE CLOCK HAS NOW RUN OUT’

"All options are on the table”

I got chills when I saw a CNN report that said that a White House official has just warned that “the clock has now run out” on North Korea’s nuclear program and that “all options are on the table”.

That second phrase has been repeatedly used by members of the Trump administration in recent days, and everyone knows what it means. When I wrote that a conflict with North Korea could be “Trump’s first war”last month, I was still hoping that cooler heads would prevail and that a military conflict could be avoided. Unfortunately, it appears that a peaceful solution is not in the cards, and that means that the United States may soon start bombing North Korea. And of course if that happens the North Koreans will strike back with whatever they can, and that includes nuclear weapons.

I don’t know if I have the words to effectively communicate how serious this situation could become. We have gotten to the point where the White House is openly talking of going to war with a nuclear power

  1. NK isn't a nuclear power since they have no delivery systems.

We have gotten to the point where a certifiably crazy man with crude-but-usable nukes is threatening half the planet. We are among the very few countries who can do anything about that, and our previous president is mainly responsible for allowing it to progress to this point of crisis.

    So-- what to do?

The Syria strike sends a clear message that the clock has indeed run out. We are done with the hand-holding and statements of 'grave concern.'

The message to NKorea: the BS ends RIGHT NOW.

  5. This is just the beginning , we cannot tolerate threats from any nation. North Korea has been responsible thousands of deaths to American soldiers and South Korean people. They are a nation of war and have been that way for years. It is way over due to have them see what their threats have done to them.
The second division had 50,000 infantry soldiers ready willing and able close to the DMZ.
