  1. Will the police department have golf carts, too, with emergency equipment?
And will they be confiscating them from alleged drug dealers?

  2. Limelight Lewis is too busy looking for a news camera or out of town to be bothered with such investigations. Good work Crisfield.

  4. The heroin epidemic is real in Crisfield and a lot of other small towns. It is killing generations of people and everytime the cops round up the dealers, the courts let them right back out. But,here is something to chew on....obviously someone who lives in the projects is NOT the kingpin. They are just a distributor! I bet its wealthy white people at the top of this pyramid.Wealthy locals.

  8. Thank goodness this is going on!! So many lives are being lost and people have no idea. There is something strange going on and I don't know if it has anything to do with this BUT...there is some sort of phone deal where people can purchase a Delmar MD/DE phone number so that when you get a call from Crisfield it appears to be from Delmar. I was getting very annoying calls from one of Crisfields upstanding citizens (choke) and the number was a delaware exchange. I was told that the phone number was purchased from someone in Delmar.

  9. 5:42 Why does everything have to turn into a race issue? It's unnecessary comments like yours that keep the racial tensions high! Why not put that energy towards helping to solve some of the drug problems.

  10. If the chief was doing a good job he would not need 100 more cops to come to his rescue. You have to nip this stuff in the bud, not wait for it to build up until it's out of control.

  11. 9:38 It takes that number of LEOs to do simultaneous raids on multiple locations. This is done so that evidence is preserved and other targets are not tipped off.

  12. You can arrest 100 dealers, but 200 more will pop up to take their place. Won't matter in battling heroin, but it will allow police to confiscate lots of drug money! Then they can go buy some fancy new cruisers or military style equipment!

  13. My guess is that most of the arrests were in the housing project. Nothing racist about that but that is where the drugs are. Since most residents of the project are black I think you can figure out who is involved in the drug trade. The city and the police are both at fault for not staying on top of this situation. They let it grow into an enormous problem and then want praise for doing what they should have done months ago.

  16. 5:42 again. You can all kiss my butt.I'm tired of everyone assuming its only black people in the projects who sell and use drugs. And yes, someone way wealthier than those people is bringing this shit into town!
I may be ignorant and unenlightened but unlike most Crisfielders,my parents were not related! The richest lily white families in this town have junkies in their family too,but no one says anything about THEM.
6:41 It's not "you're" its "your"! If you are going to call someone a moron, make sure your dumb ass can read and comprehend words that sound the same.

    1. Actually 9:40 "you're" is the appropriate usage for "you are". "Your" is the possessive use. I was stating that you are a moron, not referring to a moron that you possess (which makes no sense at all). Thank you for proving my point for me.

  17. 6:38 There are more rich white addicts in this town than black ones.Get over yourself. If you are a rich Crisfielder, you didn't earn that money you were born into it.Pure luck,no effort on your part. You are basically a nobody outside of your precious town.
Your junkie kids don't get busted because of who you are and how deep your pockets are.
I am so sick of people blaming it on blacks in the projects. You look down on the people in the projects while at the same time your kids are driving over there every other night scoring Oxy's. Continue to live in absolute denial! All I know is all these people who are OD'ing are not black now are they?

    1. I agree 100%. The heroin problem in Crisfield is far worse in whites than blacks!

Your The moron. There is a wealthy white person in Salisbury that is a drug dealer who paid off someone to get only 6 months work release. He was being watched for months, they knew what he was doing and did nothing because he had money! He's back at it again. Selling clothes and drugs. Bet they won't do anything again!

  21. Total disaster. We haven't heard about any arrests because there weren't any. This is very embarrassing for crisfield P.D. please hold the praise for the chief until the factsame are known.

  22. Some judge was misled in order to get 15 warrants. No drugs and no arrests,so what the heck did they investigate for 6 months?

  23. Let's look into the demographics of the individuals involved in this illegal activity. I'll be willing to bet that, like shootings in strict gun control cities like Chicago and New York, the majority of violent crimes and drug trafficking are being committed by a group that constitutes of about 14% of our population. Commonly referred to in the press as "youths" to hide the reality of what has become a nation wide problem.
Sad that so many still make excuses for their behavior. I moved to Northwest Washington State to escape the problems. Unfortunately things have been allowed to go too far and I see no return to the sanity of earlier years. Note: I graduated from high school in 1960 and the Eastern Shore was a great, crime free place to grow up. I hate reading articles about how bad things have gotten in Salisbury. My dad taught at Bennett high school and there was no violence issues at all that I can recall
