I'll Be Back?

Matt Creamer retired today for the second time. Maybe they'll put him in charge of the Airport where he can work for the county again?

  1. Somebody needs to show some leadership at the airport. It's been a spend and spend concern for far too long. Example: rather than replace (with labor) a $2000 broken part on an otherwise completely functional snowplow, the late manager opted for a purchase of an entirely new machine to the tune of $120,000.

  5. Joe, he needs to find a different "hobby" than figuring out ways to get money out of Salisbury and Wicomico County! Don't you need a reporter to be out on assignment???? LOL

  7. I'm sure between him and Cannon, they will figure another return for this over-the-hill that should have been put out to pasture many, many years ago. He has bled this county dry for too many years. He smiles to your face, and slaps your back, then runs the blade between your shoulders. He is two-faced and a real weasel.

  8. DON'T REPLACE HIM SAVE THE TAXPAYER'S THE MONEY!

  9. I hope that the new airport manager, just hired, has considerably more sense and initiative than the person he replaced.

  10. Oh he won't be coming back.

  12. Holy Mackerel 11.15!!! Sounds like you are a disgruntled county employee witnessing first hand the logic that some county stupervisors have.

I hope so too, and am glad that moron has finally left the airport. Maybe now more people will use Sby airport and those puddle jumpers instead of going to a real airport like BWI or PHL. That guy looked at and treated most CUSTOMERS like they were a terrorist or something. Maybe looking for his big moment to make a name for himself, which never came.

Good riddance to bad rubbish and I hope if he ever flies, he is treated the same way he treated others.

  18. If u thought the county was screwed up when Mackes was running Rec and Parks its much worse now and tourism is very busy planning the next fun day for the employees.

  20. Hey Matt? Can you retire again soon so us deplorable people can have something else to talk about.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Wicomico has plenty of money, so what difference does it make how many times you retire and get rehired. There's a lot more of that coming due to poor financial planning by supervisors and/or a total disregard for tax payers money. Always remember, it's all about me.

  22. Creamer is a waste of space and a parasite

    ReplyDelete
  23. Please DO NOT put Mackes on the ticket for 2018. He is a very strong Democrat. This county had enough of a Democrat when Pollitt was there way too long.

  24. People complaining about others who earn separate pensions in different occupations? If people are eligible for a pension after 20 years of service, and one does 20 years in two different careers, why shouldn't they be granted a pension in each one? Whoever works 20 will be granted a pension, but if one is already collecting a pension they are denied another pension for working those 20? So, some of you want anyone who works 20 years in two different occupations, for a total of 40 years of labor, limited to one pension?

Am I missing something? Double dipping is when someone gets paid double for the same amount of labor that one pension requires. I don't understand the objections, unless they are jealous?

  25. Anybody hear about tables being rented out by civic center maintenance workers to their friends last Friday? My guess would be no.

    ReplyDelete
  26. Have the tv sets that were stolen from the civic center a few days ago been recovered. Or should I ask, have they even been reported as stolen or do we just sweep this issue under the rug too.

    ReplyDelete
  27. I heard Andy Wisk was gonna be in charge of the airport since he flies a little light

    ReplyDelete
  28. I rented some tables from the maintenance guys at the civic center, they gave me a good deal and helped me load em. I have nothing bad to say about them or the civic center mgt for helping me. I enjoy working with county employees.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I work for Wicomico County and interact with city employees on occasion. Once, out of curiosity, I asked a seasoned city employee, who do you think are the harder workers, city or county folks. He said probably the city guys because they don't normally start drinking on the job til afternoon but the county boys seem to enjoy an around the clock experience.

How was he double dipping? Are you jealous you can't retire and then get hired back? It's perfectly legal you know.

The only way Culver can boost employee morale is if he retires himself.

  37. Letter to the Editor:

This can be in the form of a Question of the Day as well. Since we have had 3 terms of a screwed up County Executive form of government do you prefer a County Executive of a Council/Manager form of government? A council/manager form of government would be going back to 7 Council Members only and they share the executive and legislative duties of Wicomico County. This would eliminate the high paid County Executive and eliminate many of his added and unneeded employees.

Exactly. There are many employees that have nothing to do when there isn't a show or a concert. All those people in the ticket sales office sit around and bullshit with each other on their down time 75% of the time.

What about all those parts and recs employees. NO ONE hardly ever uses the county parks. NO ONE!!

Then you have all those high paid employees in tourism.

If Bob wants to clean house then why not eliminate many of those positions.

  42. It's time to put the Department of Corrections under the County Sheriff's Office and eliminate those department heads and supervisors.

  43. To 11:15 Poster - there are a lot more items than the replacement snow plow - how about the $50,000 dollar passenger exit ramp that the County bought for the famous and most profitable airline in America - Allegiant. Go look at the stairway contraption now - it's not even being used - and is sitting next to the main terminal building. And where is Allegiant - GONE!

  44. Double dipper, soon to become a triple dipper. The poor soul will die in a government office before he throws-in-the-towel.

  45. Wicomico County wants to expand 5-32 runway and they just submitted the $250,000+ into their capital improvement budget.

Problem: The water tower at Wor Wic will have to come down because it lies above the height limits and is in the designated approach zone to guess what - Runway 5-32. This is true, I am not making this stuff-up. Go ask your's truly (Matt Creamer) himself. Everyone on the airport commission is also aware of it including the Wicomico County Council.

  46. He will be getting 3 pensions after he takes over rec and parks and works there for 20 years

  47. Someone had to hire Matt each time. He is a nice person and did good work. Good Luck Matt in whatever you do. Maybe Carl Peterson will rent you his pool house built with tax payers money. It took me a while to figure it out you were not part of Peterson's grand theft. Good luck Sir.

  48. when he reaches the age of 140 he will be getting 6 pensions

    ReplyDelete
  49. Enough of him ...he's been Sponging off the county for
way too long ....this is 2016 Time for someone NEW !!!

He and the other Wicomico County bunch from The Past need
    to GO ...........

  50. Another County Dinosaur ....

worms like him cannot be shaken off.....

they got their hooks in the system here....
Just like Rick Politt and the rest.......

  51. So there is still thief going on by county employees...the ring seems to be intact still. I wonder if a few girlfriends are benefiting from some of the supplies being bought. Is anyone checking the invoices against the actual items purchased and in stock, and who actually uses the credit cards??

    ReplyDelete
  52. Really do the taxpayers have to fund this position? Give Cannon or whoever is council president a few more bucks to do this also.Seems like a waste of money to continue this old school agenda.

    ReplyDelete
  53. 9:15 - I would like to go back to council/manager for the county

    ReplyDelete
  54. Matt will still have an easy way to keep an eye and ear on the County until his third county gig kicks in. His little buddy, John Cannon, just moved in across the street from Matt.

    ReplyDelete
  55. Bob Bryant is only leaving because of the Wor-Wic Water Tower being in the air space to extend the run way. If the runway does not get extended there will be no commercial air service within 2 years. US Scareways is eliminating all of the Dash 8's and going to Jets. The commercial Jets cannot land without the extension. Bob doesn't want the bad publicity. Thank goodness he is leaving and they need someone who can really manage and grow the airport. Many people/business' have wanted to go onto that property and he won't work with them. Good bye Bob, don't let the door hit you in the rear!
