A Viewer Writes: Aggressive Off Road Motorcycle

Hey Joe -

Can any of your viewers identify this moron ? I know the picture is not the best.

I was traveling on S. Schumaker Drive @4:47pm Saturday 11/5, past Shiloh Street, when two African American thugs on off - street dirt bikes (no lights, helmets, or tags) began to harass me as I turned left on Church Hill Avenue. I was tailgated and almost hit by one of them as he popped a wheelie and tried to hit my bumper ! I performed some defensive maneuvers, turned right into Elk's parking lot and contacted local law enforcement. Like the cowards they are they headed quickly towards the zoo area. I just couldn't believe this could happen in broad daylight ! What if it was a senior citizen or novice driver ? What's Salisbury become ?

  1. I was at the WiHi Stadium for a football game about a month ago and a dirtbike kept running up and down the road in front of the Stadium and I heard some young black kids say it was either Kevin, Keith or Jeff. It was a simple name like one of the three and not something like Labrontay. I can't remember exactly and I couldn't believe the Deputies at the game never even tried to chase him down.

  2. 6:44 because LE really doesn't care. This summer Bury cops put out a service announcement to call when you see them on the street. We all laughed because it takes them a 1/2 hour to show up. (we know they are busy, but whats the point?)

They run up and down E Church St all evening. No one does anything about it.

  3. Sorry you experienced this, but surely the one's that know the punk will not be the one to give the turd up. Maybe the police could go rogue and tool around under cover on a piece of crap bike like their's to take them down. They are growing like ISIS, in the Salisbury area.

  6. LEO don't care because the riders don't have a license or money to pay the fines. Useless to write a ticket when it never gets paid.

Baltimore has been doing the bike thing for a long period now. Guess Salisbury has to copy them, because they would not be smart enough to think of it themselves.

  9. Now that I reflect on it, I think they were upset with my "Black Sabbath" rock band decal. I don't have any political stickers - just classic rock decals.

  11. Should've just brake-checked em.

  12. They wouldn't have to look for him if it was me he was harassing me. I would have slammed on brakes and caused him to wreck his stolen dirt bike, and hopefully break a few teeth out of his mouth when his face hit my car. Dirt bike vs car...car always wins.

  13. As long as we feel like we owe them something - they are going to take advantage of it, as long as COPS are afraid to do their job, because liberals will make them pay for any mistake, we will have chaos. People were afraid of cops for a reason, punishment.

You cant PUNISH people they dont care. Get use to it, call it the beginning of "Mad Max"

  14. There's a no chase policy for motorcycles. Don't blame the officers, not their fault.

  15. city police are not allowed to chase a dirt bike per their own regulations due to safety concerns for the public. dont blame the cops on patrol for this, its from higher up.

  16. There was a medical call for an accident Saturday evening around Barclay street involving a "motorcycle". Not sure what the details were, but maybe it was one of those thugs that the person had a problem with on Saturday at 4:47pm.

  17. When we were at the craft show at the Civic Center last weekend there was one on the road that is right in front of you when you walk out of the civic center that leads to the park/zoo. He was also popping a wheelie.

  18. I've seen the same group riding bicycles in front of the YMCA. Riding and popping wheelies in the middle of road with face masks on. Very aggressive, trying to intimidate drivers.

I don't see what was the problem.

  23. 1:20 PM -

Did you see the adjective "scared" in my post ? I was angry ! Did I want an uninsured nitwit to hit my new car ? Not ! Then I would be blamed for it ? I would have to pay for it and then get sued by the poor thugster ? Wake up. You're living in a dream world. Laws don't protect law abiding citizens. That's why I have a dash cam - but that isn't enough - law enforcement told me that. I continually had my windshield wiper fluid going to back them off and would have tear gassed them but the wind was not in my favor. When I pulled into the Elk's parking lot, I was more than ready to confront the jerks but they sped off like a bunch of rats. Just sayin.

  26. Since I have Trump stickers on my car, I've started carrying a gun after seeing what happened in Chicago . I'd rather get a ticket than be critically injured. You never know what they're going to do.

  27. When this occurs, don't adjust your driving.Don't go any faster or slower than you normally would and continue on as if you are on the road alone. The only adjustments necessary are for other legit tagged vehicles.

  28. at the least you should have invited them into the elks for a few cocktails so everyone could get to know one another. at 447 on a Saturday at the elks there is plenty of alcohol flowing. you should see how that bunch drives when they leave there. Whew

  30. Comments like that gives ammo for the MSM. Keep them to yourself, otherwise our new CinC will continue to take heat for comments from ingrates like you. We need him to succeed.

  31. I disagree 8:35. Political correctness is the cause of all this country's social ills. It's time the 'silent majority' told it the way it is and not what the MSM and their ilk want to hear. It's time destructive, regressive (trying to make this a lawless 3rd world country), thugs and their sympathizers are told what is really thought of them by the majority. It's not hate, it's not racism. The same so called 'racists' by the liberals are the same ones who hold Dr Ben Carson, Col Allen West, Prof Carol Swain, Sheriff David Clarke and many other blacks in the highest regard.
