    1. It's a very clean and busy place compared to some of the places in that town. It's a old building but taken care of very well.

    2. They have the best peas, dumplings & ham soup, which is homemade! Their subs and fries are the best too! Local people not foreigners either!!

  4. Isn't this the one that's right down by the bridge? In a low area/flood plain.
So yeah, it's in the water. Happens fairly often.

  11. I always had good food from there. This building has always been underwater since the day it was built and operated as a Tastee Freeze. So why is it surprising that side of RT12 has always flooded all the way down to where the Petroleum company operated since the 60's.

  12. I enjoyed eating there, food was great and my son always had to get a milkshake. Sorry to see another business was hurt by this flood. I pray everyone will be blessed with the resources to clean up or rebuild there homes or business. Please pay no attention to the negative comments and think positive it will get better. May God Bless Down Under and all affected.

Such a shame. They had the best shakes made with real ice cream unlike some places in Salisbury. Good food, too. Will they recover? Heard somewhere Salisbury Insurance agents are now looking to rethink flood insurance. That's right have a disaster and then jack up insurance rates because after all disaster capitalism was made acceptable by the Clintons during Haiti.

  14. It is the very reason the owners named it "Down Under." It doesn't have anything to do with Australia. That building has been "down under water" so many times, its not even unusual for it to happen. It has been happening since it was built as a Tastee Freeze back in the 60's.

  17. Sorry to the fans of this place, but I ate some fries from there that were so soggy with grease that it gave me the "squirts" and an upset stomach for the next three days. After all the times that that place has been under water over the years, it has to have mold growing in there, whether it can be seen, or not. Its local, but I don't go there anymore. The owners are nice and friendly, but I don't want to get sick again. Maybe the ice cream and shakes are safe, but I doubt the quality of anything off the grills or out of the fryers.

The Four Seasons Restaurant is the place to get carryout in Snow Hill, for me. The food and Pizza are really good, and I've never felt bad after eating there. And it never floods in the store....
