Lost Dog 10-17-16: UPDATE

We lost our sweet baby Jessie yesterday 10/16/16 between 4-5 on on west Main Street in Fruitland something spooked her and she ran off she does not have her tags on but does have her collar which is purple and green and she still has her leash attached to her. She is very sweet but I know is scared. She has severe allergies and has a hard scab on her right knee cap that is being treated. She is a solid black lab. We miss her very much if you see her she is very friendly , please call Dawn or Chris Bishop 410-251-0976 , she lives off Riverside Dr so she could be trying to get home.

  1. Put out a blanket or a piece of clothing that has your scent on it . Lost my dog once and I put some clothes on the porch and she found her way home .

  2. I feel so sorry for the frustration and sadness you must feel for your lost dog. I can't stress enough how important it is to get a device like the Whistle pet tracker.

I first heard about SBY news a few years ago when a state trooper suggested I contact Joe about finding my dog. Sadly it turned out my dog was hit by a car and died near Perdue Stadium.

She was gone for 10 days and on the 10th day she was killed. If only I had known where to look for her. It was so frustrating guessing where she could be as a dog can cover a lot of distance.

After I got my next dog I got the Whistle pet tracker. Its small and fits on her collar. It cost me $9 a month but if she ever leaves my yard I can a text message alerting me and I can track her to her position to get her home quickly.

I charge it about once every 3 weeks, its water proof and also shows me how active she is on a daily basis.

Having something like this will save people from the nightmare of losing their beloved four legged family members.

We will pray for you dogs safe return.

  3. Put up reward signs! She is so cute! I love labs. Hope you find her soon. Also, get people to call if spotted and she won't come so you know where she is hanging out.
