There’s a wheelchair-bound gearhead that built an amazing garage, with lifts and everything, so he and his friends can work on cars. Three of his neighbors are suing him to make him stop and tear down the garage, and they’ve even suggested that Jesus will kill him with his breath. It’s maddening, but I’ll try and explain.
Actually, even better than explaining, I can show, thanks to this great little video about the situation from the Cape Gazette:
According to the court records, back in 2007, Charles Williams parceled off his five acres of property and sold land to his neighbor, Margaret Foulke and her partner, George Defrehn. He used the money from the sale to improve his house, and also built a 1,920 square-foot building that became his four-car garage, complete with lifts for working on cars.

I know of 2 different people that this has happened to in wicomico county.
ReplyDeleteThe Judge should find in favor of the garage owner, and force the neighbors to pay his legal expenses so far.
ReplyDeleteThat will shut them up for a while.
he has a gofund me that raised 50K in 3 days. If ever there was a reason to give, this would be an example.
ReplyDeleteSounds like harassment to me.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a beautiful garage and surrounding site. I envy this guy! ( without the neighbors ). I would love to be next door if the neighbors want to leave. Maybe they should be more concerned with the activities of the lawlessness of their favorite democratic corrupt presidential candidate. Yes,I can predict who they favor by reading this piece. Lol
ReplyDeleteIt's hard for me to believe that some people can be so hateful towards a neighbor, especially one that is in a wheelchair. I also find it quite hypocritical that these complainers quote the Bible when they don't seem to have a Christian bone in their bodies.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like the accusers have little else in the world to be happy about. Too bad for them.
ReplyDeleteThey need to leave this man alone. There are just some people who are not happy unless they are making others miserable.
ReplyDeleteThese ladies need to find something to do and leave this man alone, Just beautiful garage!!
ReplyDeleteSome people have nothing better to do with their lives than harass others. Karma: What goes around, comes around. Hope those people suing realize that inconvenient truth about life. Shame on them!

ReplyDeleteJalopnik is a cool site and always enjoyable. Glad to see a brighter spotlight on these unneighborly neighbors and their mean-spirited actions.
Hope the judge sets them straight.
