A Viewer Writes: You're gonna love this

I gave up on trick worst testers at about 8, when all of them turned onto teens without costumes or masks or makeup or even a small reach for the spirit.

I took my bucket of candy to my favorite restaurant and asked that it be sent down the bar. Everybody took a piece (Twizzlers) and passed it on, until it got to the guy with the dreadlocks, who took a monster handful. It was weird. The guy next to me said, "The rest of us have jobs".

  1. That's probably Trick-or-Treaters.

  2. How did you get jobs? Some of us want one too.

  3. I think it is time to do away with Halloween. This year was the worst ever. I live in a neighborhood with over 100 homes. Only about 10 had their lights on. The kids who came for candy were mostly in their teens. Very few children. Of the houses that had their lights on the T or T's only went to houses where the owners were out on their porches. Most of the T or T's didn't even have costumes and a lot didn't even have bags. Very few said T or T and even fewer said Thank you. What is this world coming to.

  4. I live off E Main st, in a quiet neighborhood. It's dark and there are no trick or treaters. I am older and opted out of participating for my safety because they come from E Church St. I feel sad for the kids. It is not like when I grew up. Their parents do not even bother to help them with costumes. Most of them go to the upscale neighborhoods. They more or less bus them in. Its safer and they can participate. For those with lazy parents, there is no real halloween. It is no all the kids fault.

  5. I love Halloween. I give to all the kids regardless. The ones with costumes get more. One kid impartially told me he didn't have a costume, so he just used his baseball uniform and he looked great. I thought it was great that he took it upon himself to come up with something.

  6. I love the fall festivals. You have trunk or treat at many schools and churches my kids think its great. This year we went apple picking, hay mazes games and so much more.

  7. 5:14 I don't think it is like that for a lot of inner city kids.

  8. I saw kids trick or treating with bikes and no costumes..irritates me ..just a whole lot. I give kids like that one peice of crappy candy. I give the good candy to the children, the ones who attempted a costume. KIDS over 12 shouldn't be trick or treating.

  9. Halloween provides cover for the Satanists who sacrifice animals (mostly cats) and engage in ritual orgies in hopes of inseminating one with the anti-Christ. Halloween is huge in the castles of England where freemasonry is much more widespread.

  10. Yes, 1208, and I like mine fried. What world do you live in, anyway? Have you no idea today is All Saint's Day? Do you have any idea what that has to do with Halloween?

    Read a book, then come
    back and talk...
