Dallas' Top Cop Has Answer for Protesters: Join Us

Only days after watching five of his officers gunned down by an anti-white anti-cop shooter, Dallas Police Chief David Brown on Monday offered some advice to protesters who remain upset about recent police shootings: Join us.

Even as sometimes violent demonstrations against police continued Sunday night throughout the nation, in cities from Baton Rouge to Los Angeles, Brown made his argument for disaffected civilians to put down cardboard signs and pick up a badge.

“Become a part of the solution,” Brown said during a Monday news conference. “We’re hiring. Get off that protest line and put an application in. And we’ll put you in your neighborhood, and we’ll help you resolve some of the problems you’re protesting about.”

Brown knows something about becoming part of the solution. Dallas’ top cop since 2010, Brown joined the department in 1983 after, he said, watching his friends swallowed up by the crack cocaine epidemic.

“It broke my heart and it changed what I wanted to do,” he said..

  1. I believe they would have to lower their standards way too far for these thugs to join the department. Anyway, they don't want to work, all they want to do is get free stuff and go out in the streets and shoot off their mouths and their guns.

  2. That's too easy. When common sense is right in front of you - practically smacking you in the face - the answer is always NO.

Plus there is a sensibility and responsibility issue involved.

    Nice try though.

  3. This makes more sense. All these protests are going to accomplish is less police presence in predominately black neighborhoods. That is all and NOTHING else. When that happens violent crime spikes as it has in Baltimore and Ferguson just to name a few areas. Blacks have a habit of devouring their own and this is another example.

  4. Asking thugs to join the police force does not seem like a good idea to me. Just sayin...

  5. This man is a great leader. I would be honored to work with him. I find it insulting so many dregs of society blame Whites or the Government for their failure to thrive. No matter what they say we live in the greatest nation in the world.

  6. All these people have time to protest...they need to take their butts to work. Who is paying their bills while they are running the streets like wild buffalo?

  7. You are paying their bills 12:17. That's the real reason they don't like Donald Trump. Trump keeps on saying the word jobs and they are more afraid of jobs than anything else in the world including violence.

  8. This sounds cool and everything, but do you really want those racists on any police force!
