Trump supporters denied service at Cook Out

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. -- Shannon Riggs and her cousins expected some push back from protesters when they attended presidential candidate Donald Trump's rally in Richmond Friday night. They did not expect what happened when they stopped for dinner on the way home.

Dressed in Donald Trump shirts and hats, the family walked up to the window at the Cook Out on Boulevard in Colonial Heights to order burgers and milkshakes.

"As soon as we got to the window, someone inside said 'Hell no! I'm not serving them,'" Riggs recalled.

After a few minutes of discussion behind the window, their orders were eventually taken.

"Everyone was laughing and giggling," Riggs said about the uncomfortable situation.

  1. Everything was resolved to Cook Out's satisfaction. Not very satisfying for all.

  4. You can bet I would not eat or drink anything from there even if being served after that display. Subject to have whatever put in the serving. I wood boycott the one here (Salisbury)forever because of this, but I went there one time when it opened and had no desire to return.

  5. "The Donald" is popular with the common folks because we are sick of political correctness and others trying to deny us our right to freedom of speech; we don't want America to continue to be weak in the eyes of the world; we want to continue to be friends with Israel, the only democracy in the Middle East; and we do not want the Clintons and their immoral behaviors to return to the White House. Why can't others get this!

  6. no businesses or schools should be evolved in politics in anyway as it relates to their service.

But we have certainly read on here over time that certain ones would not serve liberals or Democrats or if they did they would give lower quality service and/or charge more.

Let me say that everybody and I mean everybody gets the same treatment in my business regardless of political or religious views. It is safe to say that Cook Outs corporate didn't appreciate their employees behavior.
