Introducing the New Maryland Secure Driver's Licenses and ID Cards
NEW SECURE CARDS - NEW SECURE PROCESS
Totally redesigned driver’s license, learner’s permit and identification (ID) card to help protect against identity theft and counterfeiting.
New cards issued starting on June 20, 2016.
You will not receive your new card during your visit. New cards are printed and mailed from a high-security MVA facility.
Customers receive their new cards in the mail within 7 - 10 business days.
Make sure MVA has your correct address.
Plan ahead. Give yourself enough time to receive your new card in the mail.

What good is that if all I have to do is go down and say I am an illegal alien and my name is Syria Mexico Afganistan Algeria and I get a drivers license or ID card!
