A Viewer Writes: Subject: Unbelievable Waste of Public Resources

This poor man had to be subjected to a roadside interrogation for over a half an hour while three Wicomico officers deemed it necessary to waste the taxpayers money on not one but two backup units on a man that was hardly 5 feet 7 inches tall. The least they could have done was to direct traffic around the dangerous situation they had created for an over extended length of time. ..they were too busy chatting...As evident by the photos, leaving the suspect hanging out inside the officers window unattended, there was no need for backup...

  1. What should they be doing? Coming to your house and cutting your grass maybe? You do not know the situation you idiot.

  2. Poor man? You know for a fact that they pulled him over for no reason and subjected him to this? You know that his background is spotless? Would you call him a poor man if he shot the officer who pulled him over?

  3. Short people can pull a gun, stab, etc. Why don't you put your life on the line everyday if you think you can do a better job?

  4. Sounds like we have a poster ready to take over Criminal Justice training in Wicomico County and reeducate the entire LEO force top to bottom. They to can then make posts critical of trained officers.

  5. 2:43 Do you know for a fact that had a reason and subjected him to this? Do you know that his background isn't spotless? Did he infact shoot anyone? It works both says.

They were all probably standing around trying to figure out just how many charges they could give the person. Even if they have to make a few up.

  6. Maybe his tags came up as a fugitive from another state?

Maybe his drivers license showed he had outstanding warrants? Maybe for robbery? Maybe for kidnapping? Maybe for child pornography?

Maybe he gave false information to an officer?

Maybe the officers had an APB on that vehicle?

There's a 1000 other "maybe's" that could be listed, but you decided based on the picture from your little camera phone, taken from the other side of the field, that these law officers are goofing off.

    Nice job Mr. Citizen.

  7. It is fact that law enforcement will pill over vehicles that have damage, two toned etc.. they believe that these vehicles were damaged by dopers who are high and run into things. profiling at its best.

  8. "cutting your grass maybe" The cops would screw that up also.

    1. If you can do the job better, why aren't you? I have respect for the law. Who do you respect?

  9. Wow! With all of the momentum you've established who would dare justify all of this?

  11. "Dangerous situation they created"?? Bro, if you can't navigate around a simple traffic stop on a two laned road, then you have no business driving. Get a life!!!

  13. Seems like they are doing their job to me, what a waste of money...but if they were parked on the side walk at Wal-Mart you would be complaining about them not doing anything. You can't have it both ways, they are conducting a traffic stop it's not as if they are sitting around eating...

  14. Talk about someone having too much time on their hands! Sat there for 1/2 hour watching cops do their job. Taking pictures of the whole thing. How boring. What were you hoping to see?

  15. Wicomico County has become just like backwoods Alabama. Every time I traverse to and from Salisbury to Berlin/OC - I typically pass anywhere from (2) to (4)
State/County speed traps whereby the officers are acting like predators for speeding motorist. Sometimes I have even observed them hanging from elevated manlifts trying to nabb speeding motorist. Please recognize - I am in no way against law enforcement - but the shear numbers of these law enforcement officials brings into question the rationale behind large amounts of taxpayers monies that are being expended (benefit/expenditure) ratios.

In fact - I even called into the Maryland State Police headquarters in Berlin to protest the above observation.

Yet one can travel all the way from the MD/VA line all the way down into Carolina - and yet never encounter the number of Police vehicles as the small section of road from Salisbury/ OC (approximately 30 miles). I agree - Maryland is an insane State.
