More than 1,000,000 people have signed the boycott pledge against Target, following the secretive decision by executives to open all of their stores’ bathrooms and changing rooms to people of both sexes.
Late Thursday night, roughly 75 people a minute were adding their name to the petition as it clicked over 1 million, just after 10:30 pm Eastern Time.
“That’s a million families who are going to spread the word about Target, so they may not get those customers back,” or their money, said Tim Wildmon, president of the American Family Association, which has hosted the boycott.
Target’s “management is just going to have step up here [and] say ‘We’re selling hammers and hats, we’re not into social engineering,'” he said.

I think that sends a pretty significant statement!!!
ReplyDeleteThis needs to be done to the performers who have cancelled concerts. Their music and event tickets should not be purchased.
ReplyDeleteIf we could only do the same to the armed services and federal, state and local governments for their social engineering.
ReplyDeleteThey need to thank democrats also for the crazy law, give credit where it's due.
ReplyDeleteBoys use the boys girls use the girls it's really not this complicated, it only gets screwed up when man tries to think he can control and change nature
ReplyDeleteLet's put them OUT OF BUSINESS! ! That will stop this STUPID BS once and for ALL!!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the boycott! Keep it up until Target closes their doors for good. With the stock losses it won't be long before they walk back the policy because money means more to them than transgenders. If they do walk back don't stop the boycott. Send a message to other companies that they aren't the Boss, the consumers are.
ReplyDeleteSee what can happen when you all join together???? Stand together??? Help everyone together????
ReplyDeleteWith the stock losses it won't be long before Target changes back. Remember Phil Robertson and how 'outraged' the gay communities and their supporters were. They were calling for A&E to get rid of him and threatened boycott. The boycott by the general public was much much larger and Phil never missed a day filming. Everyone will see how quickly Target goes from being 'progressive, inclusive and tolerant" when it hits them with major stock losses and plunging profits.
ReplyDeleteSo enjoy it while you can opposite sex 'identifiers' and supporters because you are soon to see just how important your really aren't.
Ouch! That's gotta hurt!
ReplyDeleteAs a forward thinker here is what worries me. It sounds great that Target is feeling the boycott with losses and will very likely return to the former bathroom policy. What this does is opens the door for the government to make it mandatory that every single business install a gender neutral bathroom. This is bad for small business.
ReplyDeleteThis could all be a ploy by Target and the other businesses like Starbucks to get rid of more competition in the form of small businesses.
What a great indicator that the MAJORITY of people don't want that weird, strange, deviant, and disturbing behavior as part of their lives, no matter how much we are intimidated into thinking that is, in any way, "normal".
ReplyDeleteBe anything you want to be. Just don't think you HAVE to be "accepted" by the woman in the ladies restroom. Remember -- she probably has a boyfriend, brother, or husband waiting outside for her. And YOU.
She's going to be fine. You? Its going to take a few years before you'll be feeling fine again.
I hope you can "identify" what I'm saying......
Hopefully, this should send a stern message to other businesses to stay out of this nonsense and continue doing business. They should've kept their snouts out of this to begin with. No sympathy from this ex-customer.
ReplyDeleteI'm heading to Annapolis today and always stop at the target in Easton because it's a really nice target. Today I will drive right by it without a second thought. What do I really need from there anyway?
ReplyDeleteThere was a real looker in the Target mens bathroom last night. She was at least an 8.Attractive women in the mens bathrooms are fine with me.
ReplyDelete12:27 And you are SURE she was actually a she. LOL!!!!!

ReplyDeleteWhy not a row of Porta Potties beside their Bruce Jenner dresses department?
I don't sign petitions but I don't patronize operations that get their leaders' personal social preferences confused with their business model.
