A Viewer Writes: Breaking News Tutti Frutti Also Closed For Business In Salisbury

Tutti Frutti, also at Seagull Shopping Center have shut the doors.

The same owner Scott Palmer is connection to Roly Poly but 2 different businesses. Over 4 people have also lost their jobs right on New Years Day. With both business as I have stated, there are over 10 people out of work as the new year begins. What a shame and two face not to tell us in person.

I don't think it was handled right as business owners to do this to us.

Joe please post this so people will know both businesses closed.

  1. Obama's war on small business. It's not worth staying open just to pay the government I can't blame Scott.

  4. This is really not unexpected. One time, we went to the mall at 7pm on a Thursday night and the Tutti Fruitti there was closed. Very expensive yogurt. Too bad to see another business closed. Looks like unemployment is not as low as some would like us to 'believe.'

  5. Because of the “fiscal cliff” deal in January of 2013, when President Obama called for higher taxes, rates are higher for individuals at higher income levels. This translates to higher taxes for many small companies, because a majority of them file their taxes as individuals. The deal also raised taxes on capital gains and the estate tax.

  6. 10:43 No way, it is Obama's fault. Not a crap product with poor management and even worse service. No way, definitely Obama's fault.

  7. I can tell you that, for the past 2 years, the Tuti Fruti location in Ocean City was nearly always closed. Bad location, no parking, and a saturated market probably killed this franchise investment. I seriously doubt it was the result of a conspiracy against employees.

  10. Frozen yogurt is out. It was big in the DC area for a few years. Most went out out of business 2 years ago. Salisbury is always behind. Has nothing to do with economy. It's just to much money for a bowl of yogurt covered in candy.

  11. Sweet Frog is way better in my opinion anyway. Friendly owner, great staff and better selection and prices. The owner actually comes around and talks with the patrons.

  12. 12:59 You hit the nail on the head. I've yet to see ANY Democrat create a job unless it's government. People with money open business in turn hire people in turn help the community. Democrats tax, regulate and provide NOTHING. People complain about the rich usually it's a Democrat who has been on the government dime their entire lives. Either working in government or taking from it.
