Wilson Street, West Railroad Avenue, Pennsylvania Avenue & South Boulevard Street Improvements Underway

Salisbury – As part of Salisbury Public Works’ ongoing effort to keep the public informed of improvements within the City of Salisbury, please be advised that a private contractor will be affecting the flow of traffic on Pennsylvania Ave., and portions of Wilson St., West Railroad Ave., & South Blvd. while repaving the streets to improve the infrastructure quality.

The work will be performed beginning Tuesday December 8, 2015 and will be completed by Friday, December 11 at 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. Expect minor periodic traffic delays due to traffic pattern modifications between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

We regret any inconvenience this may cause. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated.

Should you have any questions or need clarification regarding this project, please contact William White with Salisbury Public Works, Technical Services at 410-548-3170.

  1. What about the Business 13 battlefield? Improper repairs, neglected failures, and just plain lack of maintenance have made the road next to impassible and causing damage to traffic's shock absorbers and tires. The futile repairs by the Public Works last year have all failed miserably.

The "Rough Road signs behind Sam's Club are entering their fourth year. The orange barrel at the East Zion road bridge has been removed after 3 years without repair.

    All fixed now, eh? NOT.

But crack and heroin sales are booming...

  2. And crack and heroin sales have what to do with road maintenance?
