  1. Why is this even news?

  2. Doesn't sound like an attempted suicide to me. Sounds more like an attempt for sympathy and publicity.

    1. Down the railroad tracks. Not across them.

  5. Seems like the 6 million was spent on some large amount of booze / drugs and now and money is gone and the addiction is still there....Money and NO Common Sense.

  6. Money ran out already?

  7. How stupid to even stay in Baltimore with $6.4 million in the bank, minus 30% for the attorney. I'd be starting a new life elsewhere, like Bali for starters.

  8. If you have never lost a child, STFU.. it doesn't matter how, why, what, or who. I know her pain. I understand her pain. I pray for her. There is nothing more devasting in life than losing your child and there is nothing material on earth that will replace the pain and sorrow, there is no escape. Time doesn't heal this wound, you just learn to carry the burden. What a burden she has to bear? Judge yourself before others.

  9. 10:37:
If my son - my son - was a continuous lawbreaker; drug addict; and drug pusher, as Mr. Gray has been shown to be, then I would reluctantly take the 6 million dollars for his death, with little or no regrets.
I can't count the number of times I've seen the Black mother of a child/teen/man that has been shot on the street, in an interview immediately following the shooting, shedding no tears, and saying that "...somebody is going to pay for this".
    And they mean money.
It's not PC to say, but it's a different culture we are dealing with here.

  10. 10:37 IS THAT YOU MARILYN MOSBY??

  11. Exactly 11:16 it's an entirely different culture in which children are seen as a way to work the system. When the child turns 18 the funds are cut off and the child is left to their own. Most, by then have been lost to the streets. The drug dealing/thug life is overlooked because they are still bringing money home.
Darden herself is a heroin user. Freddie wasn't the first son of hers who has died. She had another one murdered. Murderer never caught. His life didn't mean anything to her because she couldn't turn it into a dollar. Don't be fooled. The reality IS Black Lives ONLY Matter when they can turn the death into a money maker. This doesn't go just for those in the position of Darden but the politicians and the race baiters as well.

  13. We can see here how much black lives matter. The local NAACP chapters don't say a word about when another black kills a black or when a black child is killed due to the negligence of their black thug parents. When they think they can make a race issue out of it they are on it like flies on crap even if it didn't happen around here.

  14. 10:37 And you're here today, dealing with it. Good for you. Her attempt at suicide is lazy, cowardly, and it's unfortunate that she didn't succeed. Her son died because of his own bad decisions, she got paid for lies and corruption, and now wants to off herself? POS

  15. Why she has alot of money now

  16. She didn't try very hard.

  17. 10:37 Such a shame isn't it that the whole time Freddie was pumping the neighborhood full of drugs as a career drug dealing criminal that her conscience wasn't touched wasn't it?
While it is devastating to lose a child, there is something more devastating and that is your child causing others pain, grief and suffering like Freddie did. Or at least to civilized people.

  18. She's looking for something else to sue over. I'd be careful with this one. The wounds were only superficial. She's get a mental evaluation and get out then cut herself deeper next time requiring stitches. She will sue saying they shouldn't have let her out of the insane asylum so quickly. That's how these hood rats operate. They always have some kind of hustle going with them. Freddie's dead because he thought he could just injure himself slightly and still be around to sue.
