Just for the record, I believe your headline is wrong... As a former drunken sailor... He may not be a drunk anymore, but he is still a sailor. 'Cause old sailors never die. They just get a little dinghy.

A smart sailor only took enough money with him to get a buzz and then got drunk by mooching off his fellow sailors who took a lot of money with them.
