Student Driver?

When you are driving down a road that is posted 50 mph and you see yellow Student Driver stickers, (2 of them) on the back of their vehicle, you have to ask yourself, is this the next generation of possible Eastern Shore Firefighters in training?

    Probably.....As soon as they are employed by the department, they think they are invincible and privileged....so why not start early..it's their mentality.

    No. That's the person who teaches your kid how to drive when they're all alone.

    Rumor has it they don't have to have CDL License that match the weight limit. If the rumor is correct why are they exempt. They drive like a maniac and violate State Law, policy and procedure. They would never drive one of my trucks.

    You all disgust me. Cops roll 80+ on a phone riding asses and your making fun of firefighters. How many accidents in this county involve coos compared to firefighters? Did you know a wicomico sheriffs Sgt has had three at fault accidents? One female deputy has over ten. Pick your battles folks. And choose wisely. The firefighters and ems help people not so much for the cops. I wouldn't wanna piss of the ones that help.

    How about the accidents the fire dept hide. example how long did it take to put the ladder truck in service because the idiots were hitting ever thing in sight when they had to turn at an intersection. How many times did it have to go back to the factory to get repaired and that expense of fire fighters expenses. Where was that Wisconsin are that area. so don't get your butt in the air because you know we are right.

    Out side the city of Salisbury, the fire trucks drive swiftly but safely. They have the ability to handle turning trucks loaded with water, similar to a grain truck. They also have experiance running from the game wardens when they are spot lighting deer. They are just better drivers.

      Grain tanks and water tanks DO NOT even remotely ride the same. Grain settles and water, well you may be able to figure that one out???
