    Look at the activity and disposition. They're kidding. Hardly no arrests and most are petty. And the names of the crimes listed under activity....lol all other crimes? Wtf does that mean? Your guilty of everything we will make something stick or force you to plea. SPD is a disgrace to the profession.

    I saw at least one theft and one mdop-cleared other...that means no report, ucr stays down

    MDOP is not a UCR crime. Most of these reported "thefts", "mdop" turn out to be civil issues are not what was reported.

    Also, I'm not sure why anyone would say SPD is a disgrace. You do understand these are calls CITIZENS called in. Is SPD just suppose to not respond or ignore these calls?

      That is next years plan, to ignore the calls. Mdop is ucr but is part 2 crime wheras theft is part I. How is MDOP a civil issue? Nice try babs.

    But aren't the crime statistics that are released that the politicians brag on Part one of the UCR? That's my understanding and Part one crimes are only murder, rape, robbery (like as in armed or using force) and 1st degree assault.
    I've read quite a bit about the 'crimes down' mantra politicians are fond of blabbing and without fail, it is because it's only these 4 crimes that count and LE is under pressure to downgrade crime so it isn't reported accurately. This is a big complaint about the Safe STreets grant. Crime has to be reduced in order to get the money so it is downgraded.

    Programs like Safe Streets were created by politicians to create illusions so they can brag. Unfortunately you have half wits like Jonathan Taylor and his loser followers all who don't have the proverbial pot to take a piss in falling for the illusions. These types of people are exactly the ones fooled by the crimes down lie. They eat the BS the politicians are ramming down their throats by the shovelfuls.
