  4. There was a small attic fir on Poplar Street in Salisbury. Sounds to me that they can't get the attic fire put out. The first crew that went in stated they nocked the fire down. At least two other times I heard crews on the outside state that there was fire showing in the attic. WTH are they doing that they can't put out a little attic fire. Now they have Stations 16, 2, and 1 from Salibury on the call as well as Delmar, Fruitland, Hebron, Parsonsburg and Pittsville. Maybe it will get put out soon.

  5. Now they have had a partial roof collapse to the roof of the building. WTH are they doing? They are going to get killed if they don't get that fire put out.

Now the incident commander is saying evacuate the structure now. Wicomico Central had to remind the assistant chief who is playing incident commander that they are allow to activate the evacuation tones.

Sounds to me that so called incident commander needs to be fired before he gets someone killed.

  6. Now the incident commander is asking all units to go to their respective units for the PAR check. This is done for their accountability and to make sure no one is left behind to die in that building. (meanwhile the house is still burning).

What a joke the Salisbury Fire Department is.

  12. Let me see who is on this fire call on poplar street.

    Assistant Chief 1
    Assistant Chief 2
    Deputy Chief 1
16A more than likely on the tower.

At least 4 paid fire chiefs on the scene and they will all be compensated for this. Hmmm. Nice system we have here. Overkill and a waste of tax dollars.

  13. A fire plug at the Poplar Street fire has been hit by a vehicle so Public Works had to be called.

  14. Ut Oh!! Tower 16 just placed out of service indefinitely.

Hmm.. Just wondering if Tower 16 hit that plug that was mentioned previously?

  15. Generally the fire department is notified when a hydrant is out of service. It doesn't mean they hit it.
