From Earlier Today

Bomb Threats and bank robberies (2 locations)

Parkside High School
Salisbury, Maryland
Wicomico County

It's happened yet again. A bomb threat was phoned into police, and then an area bank was robbed while police were investigating the bomb threat.

Parkside High School was evacuated, bomb sniffing dogs were dispatched. The all clear has been given.

In Princess Anne, a bank was robbed after a robber stole money and brought in a box that he said contained a bomb.

  1. The difference between the two? The one in Somerset will be solved in a week.

  2. I find it funny someone complains that there is no tracking dogs in Wicomico County , only bomb and drug dogs. Calls out mike lewis and bam a bomb threat. Instant vindication.

  4. Watching the news tonight I noticed something highly unusual; In each location those interviewed stated that things like this didn't typically happen around their area. It's comforting to know how peaceful and quiet our local communities are, especially Princess Anne.

  5. Sheriff's department has virtual no contact with the people they serve. They need to put a walking patrol out in the business community and various high crime neighborhood and get to know the people. Citizens don't trust LE. Princess Anne can talk with locals and get information that will lead to an arrest.

  6. What would be the point of a bomb threat and bank robbery in two separate counties?

  7. 6:58 My guess is that this criminal was too stupid to realize that Princess Anne is in another county. More than likely the idiot thought that by calling in a Bomb Threat in Salisbury that it was far enough to prevent police to respond to the bank robbery in Princess Anne quickly.

We can never underestimate the stupidity of the common criminal. :)
