'You have no respect for who I am': Don Lemon's CNN interview with Talib Kweli in Ferguson ends in farce as they descend into bickering

An interview in Ferguson, Missouri, between rapper Talib Kweli and CNN host Don Lemon almost ended in a storm-off by Kweli on live television.

The situation in Ferguson, Missouri, in the wake of the shooting death of black teenager Michael Brown by white police officer Darren Wilson has been widely reported on by national media in the days and weeks since Brown's death.

Kweli appeared with anchor Don Lemon live on the scene and criticized the media's coverage of events - including Lemon's own network CNN.

  1. I've about had enough of Ferguson. It is nothing more than the "parents" of Brown trying to get their 15 minutes of fame. They are not to be sympathized with. If they cared as much about their son in life as they do in death, he would still be alive.

  2. Same with brown parents 11:24. Just like the trayvon baby momma.
She cared less about him while he was alive but when he died she was all over it. That's because the payoff was more lucrative with his death.
These people aren't fooling anyone who is smart with all their boo hooing and whatnot.
    It's all fake.

  4. Anyone remember Shamir Hudson and his mother Jacquelin Nelson? She lost all of her kids. Little Shamir was beaten to death by his adoptive mother. Daily Times published her picture, front page, hugging a teddy and sobbing. Same thing.

  5. I am no longer PC. I am no longer going to hold my tongue. I am no longer going to give special exception to those who don't know better because of their upbringing. I am just going to say what should be said when the need arises. Right now I think it is time to move on. Right now I think it is time to put all the past behind us and dust ourselves off and quit whining about the last month. Get on with your lives people. Some situations are just plain made worse by giving attention to them. Go home press....go home Sharpton....get back to the real world. Its over.
