  1. Good job, Rick Pollitt!! All this bashing, and now you all see this! The man cares about this county, and this proves it.

  2. The best case scenario would be that a gigantic sinkhole would inhale the entire GOB while fully occupied by it's worthless occupants. Building roads and bridges is an oxymoron.

  4. Should have used the duct tape over the politicians gaping pie-holes!

  5. That's brilliant! Every politician in the USA should be sent a roll of duct tape and all our problems would be solved.

  10. U know its a very sad day when the county stoops to such low levels. I forgot u all are very tired from all the free meals at The Green Turtle, Adams Ribs. Just to name a few all this at the taxpayers exspense. U got to love this county. The county Roads Division has all kinds new equipment pickups ,dumptrucks, knuckleboom truck, spreaders even a knew asphalt paving roller. Don't forget the roads superintendents new 2014 chevy 2500 pickup. And they say this county is broke. You go figure all your tax dollars. Thanks Wicomico residents we love you.

  11. Plenty of money which is evident by the out of control P card spend and what 5:16 PM provided.

  12. Yes, I will trust everything said by a person (5:16) who thinks knew and new are synonyms.

  13. don't get rid of the revenue cap; just cut back on unnecessary spending. no more food budget for school staff and employees. cancel all credit cards. take away all cars and trucks for county employees. you and I know there is plenty of FAT in this budget. cut, cut, cut and make every person and department accountable. this will work.

  14. If you cut all the perks, you should raise salaries to compensate. Perhaps that would be fairest and most transparent.

  15. 7:57 You are suggesting rewarding a raise for people who have been spending money that wasn't theirs to spend? I bet you slop at the government trough too! Reward them with the opportunity to look for a better job!

  18. Meanwhile, the County is paying overtime $ to pave the new Naylor Mill connector road on a SATURDAY, 5/31/2014!!!!! Oh, while the Rt 50 paving by private contractors, who have to keep costs down, were off Saturday.

Yet, raising taxes is really on the table.

  19. 5:55: are you really that stupid? The contractor is paid a unit price that is the same no matter what day of the week. Sounds like a bunch of you are jealous of the director, and whoever got a pickup and who doesn't have a decal. Seriously? Sounds like whining employees that probably lean on a shovel all day. Who else really gives a crap about that stuff.
