Jim Berkman's Successor?

Salisbury University is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Coach Men's Lacrosse in the Athletics Department.

Primary Job Duties: Develop and instruct student-athletes through day-to-day academic and athletic goals associated with the University. Organize and pursue administrative strategies pertaining to the recruitment of student-athletes. Assist the head coach with all aspects of a men's lacrosse program including ensuring compliance with institutional and NCAA rules.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 1-3 years of coaching experience required. CPR and First Aid Certification required within first 90 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree and college coaching experience preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite desired.

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have a solid knowledge of the rules and regulations of NCAA men's lacrosse; exceptional problem solving, planning, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills with sensitivity to a diverse population; ability to effectively motivate student-athletes.

This is a full-time exempt State position with a full benefits package. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

  3. Um...the position is for ASSISTANT coach. He is the HEAD coach. No story here...move along
