Did you see in the Daily Times today that Zach Bridges of Delmar was arrested for DUI? He his in fact the same Zach Bridges who is an fire officer for both Salisbury and Delmar Fire Departments. He is a paid guy in Salisbury. He always has had this attitude that he could drink and drive and not get caught. And him being friends with higher ups in the SFD has allowed him to push the drinking time limit before work. Might be something to look into here Joe.

He is only an acting Lieutenant in the Salisbury Fire Department, but he shouldn't be in that position. He is only there because his buddy Darrin Scott helped him get there by giving him the answers on the Lieutenants exam and Rick Hoppes knows it. Corruption does exist in the Salisbury Fire Department.
Nothing is going to happen. Jay Jester got DUI and Rick Hoppes promoted him to fire captain. That paid fire department is loaded with drunks, cheaters and corruption.
Nice Firemen's Ceremony at Salisbury Festival. Haven't seen it reported anywhere, so guess it wasn't covered by local news. The guys looked sharp in their uniforms
Joe- in many progressive fire departments, Philly,Boston, N.Y., Metro Dade in Florida and locally Prince George and Montgomery counties (notice Salisbury is missing) if you are accused of dui/dwi you are presumed innocent until proven guilty. However, the accused individual is not permitted to be in a position of trust (officer) or permitted to operate any fire department vehicle until the hearing date. If found guilty the accused is usually terminated because one of the conditions of employment is a valid drivers license. And no insurance company would assume this risk with emergency vehicles.

Yep, they are so desperate to make themselves look good they gave out 10 certificates for CPR. LMBO. CPR is nothing heroic.

Its not described as heroic. If your the person who has a cardiac emergency and stops breathing its lifesaving. Learn CPR and maybe someday you can save a life.
