Dinner Cancelation Tonight

The St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church’s Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner for this evening has been canceled due to weather conditions.

    Shrove Tuesday? I thought this was Fat Tuesday, or do I have my weeks mixed up?

    I think they are all the same thing. Fat Tuesday, Shrove Tuesday and Mardi Gras. Some even call it Pancake Day

    He mispronounced the Italian word for "case" (caso) with cazzo, which literally refers to male genitalia. At least tell the entire story if you are going to accuse someone of something they didn't mean to do on purpose. How many languages do you speak?

    I think you need to learn the different languages. He was speaking neither of the languages you claim to know nothing about. By your comment you think all priests are pedophiles, so you must also think that all gun owners are killers. I guess what they say is true. Liberals are unarmed. In so many different ways including knowledge.

    Also called Fasnacht Day which is an annual Pennsylvania Dutch celebration that falls on Shrove Tuesday, the day before Ash Wednesday. Fasnachts are fried donuts.
