Cardin Urges All To Sign Up For 'Affordable' Health Insurance As March 31 Deadline Nears

Health insurance for all is closer to reality than ever, if people will just get signed up, Sen. Ben Cardin said Monday, noting the date was the fourth anniversary of the Affordable Care Act.

Less than a week remains until the March 31 deadline closes the current open enrollment period, he pointed out as he discussed the progress he sees in the nation's health care system under the Affordable Care Act. He urged people to sign up for insurance on their own or get help to do so before open enrollment ends.

“Today is a critically important day,” Cardin told a group assembled at the Asian American Center of Frederick.

The next open enrollment period starts in November, and anyone not signed up by March 31 may be subject to a penalty.

  1. This program is doomed from the start...they're not getting enough of the healthy crowd to sign up and offset the costs of the sick and free!

See - when you give folks a choice - they shy away from communism/socialism.....

  2. Obamacare is a failure and Cardin knows it. He is another Obama loving Democrat that needs to be sent packing. He is also a liar.
