HIGH SCHOOL TEXTBOOK REWRITES SECOND AMENDMENT–LITERALLY

The authors of United States History: Preparing for the Advanced Placement Examination have taken it upon themselves to change the Constitution of the United States. The high school textbook contains a summary of each Amendment that alters the initial intent in which they were created.

The textbook notes the Second Amendment as, "The people have a right to keep and bear arms in a state militia."

The actual Second Amendment reads, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

  2. Simple solution. Take an active role in your childs education. Spend time with them and make it clear that you ,not the government, are the one your child should come to for info. I know for many they will have to work very hard at this but, the ultimate payoff is worth it.

Do not give your parental responsibilities over to the state so quickly and with such little concern. Strive to be better parents than your parents were. Learn from your mistakes and try again later, children a very pliable beings and they can role with punches. Love your children, rail against government. All is not lost but there are forces hard at work trying to undermine your authority as parents.

  6. 12:00 Here's a summary of your post; we must remain calm when summaries completely negate the intent of the original statement.

  11. DC vs Heller settled the question of whether or not individuals or members of militias have the right to bear arms.

Hint: you do not have to be in a militia.
